Duke is a great school, and offers great opportunities. I know a lot about Duke because my cousin went there, and after visiting Duke on numerous occasions, you tend to learn of what a great school it is.

I always thought I was going to go here, but I got on campus and saw the split campus locations, and I just really didn't like that.

Duke is by far the most beautiful campus I've visited. The students were very friendly. The architecture is stunning and only adds to the prestige of the school.

Duke is one of the premier universities and i would love to go here. I recomend all freshman check it out and think about applying. Only the best students will be accepted so you will be surrounded by intelligent people.

Duke is the type of place that makes you work hard for what you want. Many of the people here were kids that floated through high school without any problems; an entire school full of valedictorians and salutatorians. You compete with geniuses for your grades but if you can make it through, it is the most rewarding feeling at the end.

This is not a review of the school but I must say that I have a passion to be accepted into Duke University. Three and a half years until I can apply, but I'm cracking down on what needs to be done to go beyond their expectations and requirements. Thanks for the tips and sorry that this is not helpful.

Duke University is a dynamic school in that it offers the closed campus feel many students idealize for personal development, but also global and professional connections and resources to guide students toward their next steps. At Duke, you will find your niche within its Gothic walls. At Duke, you will find your place in society beyond them.

Duke is the perfect balance between the academic rigor of an Ivy and the intense school spirit of a state school. The courses are very challenging but also satisfying with professors who are very focused on undergraduate teaching. The opportunities for research and work experience are countless.

Duke is a remarkably exciting and challenging environment where I am perpetually humbled by the abilities of my classmates, the brilliance of my professors, and the seemingly infinite resources of the university. Duke is difficult, but manageable - I don't think there is an unhealthy overemphasis on studying, and most students have balanced social lives. The weather, basketball, and campus beauty sets Duke apart for me versus other comparable institutions.

Duke University is an academically elite school that will more than prepare you for a future in anything. The bonds you build here will last forever, and I love the opportunities that have been granted to me. I love this school!
