In the short time I attended Dutchess I did have a fairly good learning experience. But when it came to receiving help at their south campus it was a nightmare.

Dutchess Community College is a wonderful school. The staff actually sits down and goes through every little detail with you to help you succeed. They also try to get you active in events and sports.

You would not think it was a community college! Great opportunities and programs! High levels of involvement on the part of the school for its students.

Overall the quality of the school is excellent. Beautiful campus and well kept buildings. New Teachers should be given some sort of training so they don't fail students, you know the power trip its the students fault the whole class failed.

It's not a four year school, but it's a good stepping stone to many of the best four year universities! The faculty are very helpful, especially in the math and science departments, and there are many resources to help both traditional and non-traditional students. Not to mention it saves a ton of money!

Dutchess has great teachers and wide variety of programs to choose from. Great campus and atmosphere, along with awesome online courses. The only negative I have experienced is sometimes getting different information from different offices so be sure to double check any information that you need.

The school isnt bad, it can be interesting at times but its nothing special personally. Just a place to get your work done and move on to a better college I think. Or stay the two years and finish an associates degree so you can transfer easier.
