    Always have a back up plan for your major. Some classes are harder than others and some programs are very strict on their applicants. College life at ECU is amazing but remember studies and school comes first.

    The main tip I had for prospective students of East Carolina University would be to not let other people persuade you, in and out of school. Many people discouraged me in my decision of attending ECU because it is considered a party school, but in all actuality any college will have parties, and it is a personal decision to attend or not attend parties. My second tip is to pick a college that makes you feel at home because it is much harder being away from home than most people/students expect.
