    Get to know your professors, they can be very helpful and understanding. Make friends, your in a small town and you will need help throughout your college career. Don't be afraid to ask your teacher for help, it's why they are there.

    If you live in the dorms, you will immediately have friends. The Resident Assistants hold programs every month in most of the dorms that are to help students feel like they are apart of the school and to encourage lasting friendships. Also, when it comes to classes, you should definitely go and ask lots of questions. The professors are some of the best and they definitely challenge their classes.
