Campus Life

As a community college Elac does not have a cafeteria. Fortunately there happens to be a Carl's Jr and Taco Bell right across the street. There are also many other big chain restaurants around the Atlantic Square Plaza, which is just adjacent to the campus, such as IHOP and Carrows.

There is a student store but it is on the pricey side. I recommend going to the dollar store,CVS, Rite Aid or any other nearby stores if you want to buy a snack. If you can't or don't have time then the student store is your best bet. There are a lot of food places around. You can eat burgers, Hawaiian food, tacos, pizza, Chinese,etc.

There are two student stores at East Los Angeles College that are across campus from each other and a food truck but that is about it.

A lot of variety all around the campus, and husky store is Amazing.

GREAT VARIETY OF FOOD AND RESTAURANTS TO EAT FROM. ALL FROM GOOD OLD BURGERS, CHINESE FOOD, MEXICAN FOOD ETC. A BIG SHOPPING CENTER ACROSS THE STREET, AND THE MALL BEING A MILE OR 2 AWAY.

I cook at home and try not to eat out as much.

Only food is the Food Truck. There are clubs that usually sell food during the semester to fund raise.
