ESU is a very cheap school which is great! However the school does not have much endowments which means students do not get a lot of financial help in that aspect. But you get a great education there for less than half of what other schools expect you to pay.

This school is honestly not all that expensive for a college. I pay around $8,000 a semester and think that all of my classes are really interesting, and they are legitimately challenging. There is also a lot that you can do on campus including, sports, music, extra curriculars, volunteer opportunities, and different organizations you can join. Greek life is also a big thing here as well, and they do a lot for the school and the community.

One of the greatest aspects about East Stroudsburg University is that it is affordable for most budgets. It is a PASSHE University and therefore if you are a Pennsylvania resident, the rates are very reasonable. And of course, an education is not a waste of money, but a valuable investment. So money spent is well worth it and you should expect an even greater return for your money in the future.

Fortunately, I was able to receive substantial financial aid and scholarships, therefore making ESU within my budget and definitely satisfies. Will be looking forward to spending my four years here at undergraduate school.
