» Read MoreThis may be biased because my world is theatre, but there is a lot going on in the area and not just on campus. There are groups and student-run organizations that put on productions and reach out to members of the community to get involved. It is common to find a mixed group in a production: some people that don't attend ETSU, some students, some actors... varying ages sometimes 18 to 62. This applies to everyone interested in attending ETSU, not just theatre majors: The involvement is great! But that is just it, you need to be involved. Don't come in your freshman year and expect to sit quietly in the corner and learn something. Learn by doing!
