Categories Comments Bang for the buck Compared to many other universities, East West University is very reasonable. Considering it is an accredited private university, you should definately get a bang for your buck. I am very excited to attend.
Food and Dining I will not be attending here until Jan 2013. The university is in Chicago's south loop so food and dining should be no problem. Many places will give student discounts.
Dorm Life East West does not have dorms which is fine with me. I was not interested in staying on campus.
Academic Rigor I like the fact that East West is a small university. There are no more than 20 students in most classes. Based on their mission statement, the faculty and staff adhere to very high academic standards in instructional delivery and hands-on laboratory / clinical exercises.

Categories Comments Campus Safety I didn't feel much safe while going to this school. The security guards that work there look Very tired, not to mention just by looking at them- they don't look like much help. I don't think they would jump-in and try to break up any fights/ arguments that might breakout at the school.
Greek Life There aren't NONE.
Clubs and Activities There aren't NONE.
Great for these types of students East-West University is the type of school that's great for people that doesn't have anything going for themselves, one whose doesn't plan on having a future, doesn't have any goals in life. This school is full ghetto, students who loves to start drama and fights.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus It's located downtown Chicago.
Bang for the buck East-West University is a waste. Everybody deserves more and to be treated with respect and sorry to say, but THERE ISN'T NONE HERE.
What to do for fun They isn't much to do on campus. EWU doesn't have any sports or extracurricular activities that involves their students, not even student government. NOTHING. There also isn't much to do downtown Chicago. Grant Park near the school- it's great for walking around, sitting down and enjoying the view, or hanging out with friends.
Food and Dining The food is expensive. The only thing that's inexpensive is a bag of chips and a soda.
Tips for prospective students This school is a JOKE!! EWU accepts anything and everybody, there's not much diversity- there's more African American students than any other race. EWU is full of college rejects. Every black male/ female student that goes there is either homeless, a thug, college dropout, or couldn't get into a better college. EWU doesn't have any standards or curriculum to accepting their students. Once, you sign up the VERY NEXT DAY you will get a call from somebody that works there to get you started on signing up for classes. THEY ARE THIRSTY FOR STUDENTS. And THEY'RE VERY QUICK TO SIGN PEOPLE UP FOR LOANS. I went to East-West University for one semester and they automatically signed me up for a 4,000 dollar loan ( both subsidized and unsubsidized. Not to mention I was only taking 3 classes. The staff at EWU. are rude, especially the people who work in the financial aid office. Some teachers are very strict and won't give any students a fair chance to pass a class. What college do you know if was established in 1980 doesn't already have a dormitory built for it's students? SMH, it's about to be the year 2013 and they're just NOW building one. DON'T COME TO EAST-WEST UNIVERSITY. it's a waste.
In three sentences East-West University is a JOKE, they're very thirsty, rude, unorganized, unprofessional, greedy, and a waste of life and time. DON'T COME TO THIS SCHOOL.

Categories Comments Great for these types of students This college is great for people who have a lot of responsibilities besides school such as a job or kids. This is also a good school for international students.
Tips for prospective students The main tip I have is love reading. If you do not love reading then pretend you do and read or learn to love reading. Do not worry to much about if you are going to be able to understand the information you learn because most colleges have free tutoring.
Bang for the buck This is a very affordable college.
Did enjoy being here I enjoyed being here but it is not a lot of extracurricular activities to do on campus but it is located downtown Chicago so on a break you could find something to do around the campus outside.
Did learn a lot I learned a lot from here. when you go to here or any college as a freshman, the first thing you should know is that you have to do a lot of studying for yourself and reading. When a chapter is given to read, do not think just because you have the book you already know the information, actually read it! Everything you here in a lecture from your professor is not all that is on the exam. Just be aware.
