I'm honestly not truly enjoying Eastern. I feel like I just came here because it was my only last option at a true college experience. The campus is pretty dead on weekends because most students go home. I usually just go home on the weekends. Even though some say there are things to do over the weekends, there really isn't much to do at all.

» Read MoreI love being at Eastern. The campus is really nice and the people are really friendly. It's easy to make friends, especially in the freshman dorms. I sat in the common room of my dorm last year and became great friends with the other girls on my floor. It was great.
» Read MoreI'm a Willimantic native, so if anyone tells you that the natives are scary, they're probably stuck-up suburbanites who are too good to live in a city. Willimantic has some great stuff going on -Streetfest, live music, plenty of stores-, and the WRTD bus takes you to Storrs for free if you're a student (It's either free or subsidized) If you really need to go to a UConn party, just take a bus or get a local friend to take you to Carriage House.
