At EKU, you can never get bored. There is always something going on from basketball games to intramural sports. There is a club for any and everybody so I am in a couple clubs to match with my major and some just for personal interest. There are many activities off campus like Bowling, the Movies, shopping and eating of course.

EKU is a suitcase school, so most people go home on weekends and campus is pretty quiet. Richmond has a great shopping center with awesome restaurants and a nice new movie theater. Lake Reba is a short drive and has picnic areas, walking trails, and lakeside fun. The Center for the Arts puts on great shows and often offer discounted tickets to students. Lexington is also a short drive away and offers lots of activities.

EKU has a beautiful campus with rich history, but has modern twists. In Downstairs Powell, if you want to chill or be productive there is a room called Tech Commons. It has EKU Gurus (free tutoring), Hulu on a projector, couches, free popcorn, computers, printers, group monitors, and even comfortable seating. Noel Studio in the Crabbe library is brand new with new technology and helpful resources, yet with a fun, colorful, contemporary environment.

Go to football and basketball games! When it's warm outside, in between classes there's always people sitting out and chatting.
