Hang out with friends, get to know people. Student activities board also has events that are really fun most weekends.

Eastern University offers plenty of opportunities to join clubs, to be on sports teams, or to volunteer in the surrounding community. Most of the students here at Eastern are involved in at least one club or sports team, and many of the students are very involved in volunteering and in outreach programs. The weekends here at Eastern are notoriously slow. Many of the students visit home or friends at other universities over the weekends. It can be hard at first, but you just have to find some friends and be creative.

There are several sports that have games throughout the week, several events are held throughout the semester, but the best thing to do for fun is become involved in a club, there are clubs for everyone. There are also a lot of places nearby that are fun to visit off campus.

Since Eastern University is located in a small town..dependng if one has the means to travel far one could visit surrounding towns. There is a movie theater and local shops right in the middle of town which is great for those whom do not have the means to travel far. Also SEPTA is right by the campus and one can take a six minute ride and can spend a day trip in Philadelphia.
