Eastern University can be a bit pricy, but the financial aid office is pretty good about offering scholarships, grants and financial aid. I know that I was a little intimidated by the prices at first, but the financial aid office at Eastern did all that they could to get me more scholarship when I asked for help. I personally think that my experiences here at Eastern have been priceless, but the costs here at Eastern have continued to rise. This, unfortunately, has made it hard for some students to stay at Eastern.

It is a private school, so it's more expensive than the state-alternatives. However, my brother attends a state school, and I can say that the quality of my education seems far greater than what he receives.

I believe that Eastern can improve. Charging girl students fines for being in boy dorms and boys for being in girls dorms before a certain time is ridiculous. They should charge students for being there after 4pm because people aren't going to be doing stuff early in the day. The policy on that should be you get a fine if you in violation after 4 pm NOT before. It makes no sense. Academic wise you do get bang for your buck but they should change the food and the outlay of some of the dorms in Hainer Hall.
