The food is okay, but it gets old fast. I spend my food money at the market and just eat in my room. There is on campus coffee, but definitely is not equivalent to Starbucks or Dutch Bros. There is a Safeway close, so maybe a smaller meal plan and buy stuff at Safeway as well.

Depending on where you go on campus, the food can differ but for the most part certain places are amazing while certain places feel like you're chewing rubber. There aren't too many different choices to go on campus but still rather enjoyable.

The food is alright on campus. I am telling you it will be the same food everyday and you could get sick of it in just a week. Every dining area is pretty good. I recommend eating at The Roost. Their food kind of suites everyone. If you like a buffet type of dining place, you would go to Tawanka, If you're a sandwhich lover, Swoops, and The Brick Deli would be for you. Baldy's is my last resort, but I do love their build your own parfait section.

There are quite a few options around campus for food. I never run out of choices that's for sure! Sometimes it is a little harder to find healthier meal options but it's not impossible!

I do not eat on campus very much, but they have a Thomas Hammer in the Student Union Building that I go to quite often.

Plenty of options for your specific diet (vegan, gluten-free, vegetarian, high-carb, low or fat-free). Lots of food is locally grown. Weekly farmer's market. Lots of effort put into meals and you can tell.

Dumb kids join these and party hardy. Not a smart choice to join one of these. My exception is Sigma Alpha Lambda the fraternity which is also a chapter of the national honors society and leadership organization.

Greek life is pretty involved around campus. They put on a lot of the welcome week activities and they are very involved in things like the homecoming parade. They also are always doing fundraisers for the food bank or cancer awareness.

I am not involved with greek life, so I'm not the best judge of it. But from the rumors I've heard, I wouldn't recommend joining a sorority or frat.

There are sororities and fraternities at Eastern, I've met several girls from sororities and they seemed to genuinely love their sorority.

Even if you think Greek Life isn't for you, you should attend rush week just too see what it's about. You never know what it'll be like until you try, college brings new people and new surroundings. You will grow from every experience you have, so be bold and be open.

Is a joke it feels like high school and they are not very tolerant of a diverse range of people. There are only 4 houses for girls so there is no reason to be that picky. I tried joining and they did not take me and I do not know why. I am a nice girl with good grades and i am not ugly or anything. I think a California Greek system would take me because I care to meet people and be part of a house.
