Read Posters that are posted on the walls or bulletin boards, they can really be helpful. Don't just try to focus on the grade you will be getting on a class, learning well is beneficial in the long run. Ask teachers if they can give you a syllabus before registering in their class to give you an example of how they might teach and if it fits with how you learn. Take 3 to 4 classes each semester. Join one club, and one organization. Visit all of the Offices at your school and ask questions about college. This will also help you now your resources better. Don't miss the beginning of class. Have a planner for your personal life and another one for your academic work. Make at least one friend in each class. Take one step at a time.

The staff is willing to help you become a better student by staying after class and meeting with you. They also place emphasis on meeting with your personally and addressing your weaknesses as a student. Take advantage of the willingness of your teachers. As long as they see you work hard, they work harder as well. The libraries facilities and personal are very helpful. They are always willing to help you. It is a good idea to become friends with one! They will help you even more when you take the time to get to know them.

You must read the material and pay attention. If you have uncertainty about the material, review it. A clear consciousness is worth more than taking 20 more minutes of procrastination.
