Around Town

This campus has many clubs and organizations that love getting new members. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. There are also many campus sponsored events. In 2012, the school brough FUN. here for a concert with discounted student tickets. The school is also very close to Chicago so there are many fun options in the city too.

greek life is an option to meet people. activities and events are going on. (they hold concerts) many clubs.

There are some things to do around downtown Elmhurst, but the real treat is the 30-40 minute train ride into downtown Chicago. Elmhurst College really is in a great location!

There is a room we call the Roost where they have another small cafeteria with food like burgers, wings, pizza, and tons of other stuff. Then there is another section for ping pong (can rent the stuff), pool (stuff to rent), x box (you can rent games and controllers), karaoke. Besides from that, downtown Elmhurst is 5 minutes away from walking so the movies, BWW, and other things are easy access. It's a blast.

The down town Elmhurst area is full of excitement. You can walk to York theater for the movies. Buffalo Wild wings, Chipotle, Subway and a host of other restaurant are all within a couple of feet away from each other. If your feeling adventurous, you can ride the Metra to down town Chicago or go to the zoo.

Find the right people to have a good time. But the athletic teams here are always doing something.

The school is within walking distance of a train station so it is easy to get to the city. There are also plenty of malls around.

Get involved on campus which leads to meeting new people; attend lectures from spokespersons and gain a different perspective; hang out in dorms, etc. Take advantage of the opportunities presented and you will enjoy this college!

The sports games are most fun. In the roost, they have TVs and games to play. Off campus are movies and different restaurants to choose from. On the weekends, the shuttle buses take you to target and walmart and oak brook and Yorktown malls on Saturdays.
