» Read MoreThere's so much to do in and around Emerson for fun - it's in the middle of Boston. Emerson shows movies for free for students, and there's a giant cinema nearby. The Commons is right across the street, and the beautiful Public Gardens right next to that. There are lots of shops nearby on Newbury St. And if you're looking for fun stuff to do AT Emerson, there are loads of fun clubs to join.
» Read MoreI mean the campus is right in the middle of downtown Boston and the Theater District. The Boston COmmon and the Public Gardens are right across the street from the buildings. The Paramount screens free movies everyday for students and the AMC Lowes is across the street. You can walk to the Esplanade and play on the playground or walk by the Charles River. Go to the harbor or the Aquarium and see the ocean life. Go shopping on Newberry Street or Faneuil Hall or if you're feeling adventurous go to Cambridge and go to the Garment District. There's so much to do, you just have to take your pick.

» Read MoreYou're in Boston - there's SO much to do! First off, we're in the theatre district so there's always about 5 different options each night for shows to see. Also, the AMC Theatre is across the street so you can always see a movie. If you plan on staying in for the night there is usually at least one or two on campus events going on. Just walk around 1st floor of Piano Row or 2nd floor of Little Building. If you like nature, we're across the street from the Boston Common (equivalent to New York's Central Park). There's also Newburry St. which holds all the shopping. (2 minutes from campus). If you're feeling artsy you can also go to the Museum of Fine Art for FREE by showing your Emerson ID.

» Read MoreAlthough there is not a big party scene at Emerson, the city of Boston has a plethora of other big colleges and universities to make up for it. Additionally, Emerson has extracurricular clubs and organizations for every kind of person.

You're a walk away from the Esplenade (a beautiful dock with a view), the North End (little Italy), China town (experience a new culture and check out the shops and restaurants!) You're a T-ride away from everything and everywhere! There is so much to do!
» Read MoreGo to the oldest park in the nation, the Common, which is across the street. Go to Loew's Theater across the street. Chinatown is fun with a group of people (not at night). It's located across the street. Right across from the T so you can go anywhere in the city quickly. Take the Freedom Trail on Boston. Shop on Newbury Street and at Fanueil Hall. Help lost tourists when you get to know the city! Be a nice Bostonian.
