» Read MoreYou're in Boston - there's SO much to do! First off, we're in the theatre district so there's always about 5 different options each night for shows to see. Also, the AMC Theatre is across the street so you can always see a movie. If you plan on staying in for the night there is usually at least one or two on campus events going on. Just walk around 1st floor of Piano Row or 2nd floor of Little Building. If you like nature, we're across the street from the Boston Common (equivalent to New York's Central Park). There's also Newburry St. which holds all the shopping. (2 minutes from campus). If you're feeling artsy you can also go to the Museum of Fine Art for FREE by showing your Emerson ID.

» Read MoreAlthough there is not a big party scene at Emerson, the city of Boston has a plethora of other big colleges and universities to make up for it. Additionally, Emerson has extracurricular clubs and organizations for every kind of person.

You're a walk away from the Esplenade (a beautiful dock with a view), the North End (little Italy), China town (experience a new culture and check out the shops and restaurants!) You're a T-ride away from everything and everywhere! There is so much to do!
» Read MoreGo to the oldest park in the nation, the Common, which is across the street. Go to Loew's Theater across the street. Chinatown is fun with a group of people (not at night). It's located across the street. Right across from the T so you can go anywhere in the city quickly. Take the Freedom Trail on Boston. Shop on Newbury Street and at Fanueil Hall. Help lost tourists when you get to know the city! Be a nice Bostonian.
» Read MoreIt's the city! There's so much to do from concerts and parties, and the college is literally across the street from the Boston Common and Public Gardens so everyone hangs out there during the day. We're also a 5 minute walk from Newbury Street. You will always have something to do.

There are so many things to do in Boston that I can't list them all, but take advantage of everything and enjoy your time there.
