There is a really good cafe in the Woodridge building on campus! Not too expensive depending on what you get. There are also hundred of restaurants downtown within walking distance of the school. From the ones I have tried most are really really good!

While we only have 2 cafeterias to choose from, they are both pretty awesome. The Rock, which is the main cafeteria located in the North quad, is a buffet style restaurant. I say estaurant because it doesn't look like your average cafeteria. The seating is nice and comfortable, there is a fireplace in the back, and it has very elegant decor. The food is also very good. They offer a sandwich station, a mongolian grill, an omelet station, Woody's grill (which is burgers, fries, etc.), world's fare (various foods from other countries), Brick Oven Pizza, Pasta Station, and a Healthy Choice Station. Along with these items, there is cereal, desserts, fruit, a waffle maker and many other things to try. The other cafeteria is West Side, which is not as fancy but still supplies decent meals. One of my favorites is the late night menu (served after 8 pm) on thursdays. You can order wings with whatever sauce you choose, macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, and soft pretzels.

There are two main dining places for students with student meal plans to eat. And those are the Rock an Westside. I prefer Westside. Most people prefer the Rock. I like Westside because it reminds me of home. It is a smaller cafe not many go to it unless it is a Thursday night because of wing night. Other than that the food is great and you just always have a wide variety of food to choose from.

There are fraternities and sororities on campus but not as many as the average college. Also, for whatever reason, sororities are not allowed to have houses so they can't all live together.

Greek life is smaller on this campus compared to others but this allows most Greeks to know just about everyone. Greek life here is it's own little community.

I support Greek life 100%. I joined a sorority my junior and the only regret I have is not joining one sooner. For me as a transfer it was hard to meet people, but I have met so many genuine people through Greek Life. Greeks volunteer and do a lot of great community service in and around the community and college.
