For all prospect students have patience due to the fact Fisk staff and faculty are only human. This is for any school one intends to attend. Moreover, be prepared for any delays and maintain a strong faith that you will attend that campus of your dreams the upcoming semester. Lastly, buckle up for the transition from high school to college or community college to four-year university. For the transferring students bring along your school(s) course catalog with your previous classes circled; therefore, a adviser and yourself may sit down evaluating which classes are acceptable towards you obtain the degree of one's dream. As for freshmen: be ready to sacrifice sleep and mind for sleep will be loss do study long study hours. Mind, meaning you will have to adapt differently causing your mind to mature into adulthood.

Fisk is not really a party school so if that's what your looking for you might not want to apply here. Although Fisk is not a party school it's located very close to Vanderbilt, and TSU which allows for partying opportunities.
