My professors have been great! I originally came to FSU as a film student and honestly wasn't happy in that concentration, but I knew I still wanted to work in the entertainment industry. I switched my major concentration to Professional Communications and have been so happy since. My advisor is brilliant and makes sure I get what I want out of my degree and experience on campus and always asks me how I am doing outside of school and academics.

Fitchburg State University is an affordable, respectable, and effectively run state school located in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. The campus is relatively small, yet very inviting, with a strong sense of community. The university provides a very thorough liberal arts education for a very modest price.

Don't let the fact that it is a state school put you down. If you take advantage of what the school has to offer, you can go very far. The professors can really teach you a lot.

It is a medium sized city like campus. It is near the commuter line that goes into boston and had a bus that goes around every 15 minutes. The food is good but not the best and the classes are easy to find even as a freshman on campus.
