This University has an extremely high academic level. Professors are dedicated, and provide their students with all necessary material for them to have a complete understanding of their subject. Many classes include discussions, or online sections, that are given in addition to the typical lesson, to allow students to completely comprehend all the information taught. Furthermore, numerous courses will also have specific tutoring classes, offered for free, to clarify any questions that students might develop throughout the semester.

Florida Atlantic University is an amazing academic institution with much cultural diversity, rigorous academics, and elite academic programs. The campus I attend has a very vast and diverse student population of 30,000 and is the perfect fit for students that prefer smaller and more intimate schools. The rich academic atmosphere and the extensive cultural diversity makes this school stand out.

There are major differences in quality of experience, school requirements, diversity, and atmosphere/culture depending on which campus you attend. Boca and Davie are more diverse and offer more opportunities than the small Jupiter campus. Know whether or not you are required to stay in a dorm.

Do not attend if you are a math or science major. Teachers hardly speak english. Nightlife is decent.

Florida Atlantic University is home to diverse group of students; students that come from a plethora of various states and countries and all walks of life. The campus is a good size; you could get from one end of the campus to the other in just ten minutes. There are a lot of different courses that are offered and the professors are great.

FAU is a nice university which presents many research opportunities, especially in the sciences. This university is diverse and has many different types of people from all over the globe, so it is great to meet new people and to network with those a lot different from you. FAU also is right in the middle of major cities in South Florida, so if you like to be busy and always be in the middle of action, this is a great place.

FAU is located in Boca Raton, which is not too far from all major sporting events such as professional football (NFL/Miami Dolphins), Hockey (Florida Panthers), MLB/Baseball (Miami Marlins), and NBA / Basketball (Miami Heat), so your weekends can be full of fun! Everyone is nice and the professors and other staff members sincerely seem interested in helping me reach my goals. I love the fact that FAU is among the most diverse universities in the country!

Florida Atlantic University has a lot of great research and internship opportunities. On the other hand, the professors can be a bit demanding and arrogant. The financial aid office is very efficient.

Florida Atlantic university has a great atmosphere and study environment. but i feel like the math and computer classes has a horrible guide in which students barely understand the course work. i believe a more intense class of either of these subjects as in separating semesters to discuss more information would be a great start.
