I joined the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity am part of Campus Activities Board and love both sooo much! I live in my fraternity house, which is on the river, and I hold a position where I plan our special events that we do. It's a great experience and all my brothers are there to help me whenever I need it. On Campus Activities Board (CAB) I help plan who comes to the school (i.e. musicians, comedians, etc.) and makes seeing the shows that much sweeter!

Its a very laid back atmosphere, not meant for those that like the city. It says its in the middle of a city but it is really not. Its more suburban lifestyle. Party every weekend but a laid back one where people jus get together to have fun.

The campus is manageable and beautiful, as expected. The staff are supportive and reiterate their desire to see each student succeed. It truly is, as the motto states, High tech, with a human touch.

So far I have joined a few clubs, made friends with my roommate and I enjoy living here on campus. Brownlie Hall, which is for Upperclassmen, is small but nice. The RA knows what he's doing and the rest of the students and faculty around campus are friendly and helpful. Coming from a small town, this quality helps the adjustment into a city environment.

The campus isn't too large, so it's relatively easy to find your way around. The class sizes are smaller too which makes it easier for your questions to be answered and have a more inclusive learning environment.
