Room and Board The weighted average for room and board and other expenses is generated as follows:
  • (amount for on-campus room, board and other expenses * # of students living on-campus.
  • + amount for off-campus (with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus with family
  • + amount for off-campus (not with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus not with family)
divided by the total # of students. Students whose living arrangements are unknown are excluded from the calculation. What Students Are Saying

Outstanding facilities.
Tyler from Minneola, FL
A very science-engineering school with a very tight knit community. Good professor and a pretty welcoming, if small, student body. A campus ready to grow.
Isabel from Cooper City, FL
Florida Polytechnic is a great place to get your education. Everyone on staff is extremely helpful and always willing to answer questions. Class sizes are always small and academic centered.
Makala from Polk City, FL
Four Star Rating
Brittany from Auburndale, FL
I am a future student and so far, even though I have not started my classes, I am extremely excited to attend Florida Poly. Everything, from scheduled tours to Preview night, has been extremely well organized and the admissions counselors have been very informative. I am able to see my whole course catalog online and have access to other students who are going to be attending Florida Poly as well.

Florida Polytechnic University is a unique university whose class building was designed by world-renown architect Dr. Santiago Calatrava. This is a university that offers many degrees that help prepare the students for the careers needed today. Florida Poly is the right university for students who want to learn in classrooms with small student-to-teacher ratios and who want one-on-one time with their professors.
Nigel from Lakeland, FL
A great experience. The school has all new, state of the art technology and lab equipment. Cirriculum is very hands on and the school in general is small which creates a more personal experience in classes.
Guest from Poly City
Florida Polytechnic is a great choice for those who are wanting to go into any career field involving STEM research. Not only does this new school offer state of the art facilities for the classes and research, but it is also located in a central part of Florida where there are many different attractions which draw people from all around the state. Personally I love being a part of this brand new college and being able to influence the future of the university.
Gabriela from Rockledge, FL
Looks great, the only thing that is lacking is the accreditation; however, it appears as though everyone is sure the school will become accredited soon.
