Check out the restaurants on campus, because they are not that pricy. Also, around town, FSU students can get discounts for certain events at certain locations. Just make sure to keep your I.D. on you at all times.

The tuition is average in all honesty and really good if you consider how many free activities they throw for their students.

Tuition is obviously paying for classes that you take, but it also takes care of some things you may not really think about. All of the fun activities put on by the school such as Winter Wonderland holiday activities and free food, Fall carnival with rides and free food, and all of the week long Finals Stress Busters are covered in tuition. Tuition also pays for the many buses for students that go on and off campus. Students are also able to use the city buses for free to get to the mall, target, ect. Night Nole is a free bus system that travels from 10pm-3am at night from local clubs and bars to on campus and off campus student housing to prevent drunk driving and promote student safety. Safe Ride is a free van service to on campus student to use to get around campus, this is great if you had a late study session and its really late and don't feel comfortable walking to your dorm alone. Also football games are free for current full time students as well as gym use.
