There is a beautiful Japanese garden and teahouse, but the campus is more academically focused than De Anza's. Though sister colleges, Foothill is less focused on the social aspect of college life than De Anza is.

Not everybody knows this, but Foothill College has a bamboo forest thick with trees and nice benches to enjoy the scenery.

This school is very much athletically oriented. The most fun I have had at this school was on the swim team. Practices were a lot of work, but it is well worth the effort to be on a team at Foothill.

The campus is just beautiful and invites to outdoor activities. You can take any PE class and use the pool, gym, tennis court, tracks or soccer field at most of the times of the day. There are also a lot of student government activities going on every Wednesday and the clubs on campus are always a great way to meet new people. We have each quarter about 40 clubs on campus and it is very easy to start your own, if there is nothing there for you :)

The campus itself looks like you are on a nice hiking trail or some other place other then a school. It's a very nice scene to look at at school.
