Around Town

New York City is a 20 minute and $8 train ride away, take advantage of it if you haven't already. Bars are somewhat easily accessible from campus.

Take the Metro-north to Westchester, Take the Metro-north into Manhattan (Sight-seeing, plays, movies, museums, shopping, etc), Walk to The Blend cafe or on Fordham Road for shopping, Eat at restaurants like Michelangelos on Arthur Avenue

we go out a lot and there is the botanical gardens and bronx zoo

You're living in the Bronx, so transport in to Manhattan is ridiculously easy. The Botanical Gardens and the Bronx Zoo are also located right outside of the campus. If you are looking to stay on campus, there are always a number of shows or sporting events that you can attend.

It's New York City! Anything you could possibly think of is right at your fingertips. Anything from movies to museums, bars to concerts, or clubs to restaurants is within walking distance.

NYC is just a train ride from The Bronx. Hope on the Metro North and take a tour of the city life.

Go into the city! Spend time on campus your freshmen year, as many people get very involved after their first year and lost their free time to simply hang out and chat - many people stay in their frosh year friend groups so it's important to try and meet people then - but otherwise just travel around NYC!

Play basketball and tennis. Attend club meetings. Enjoy occasional free food.

Central Park is lie five minutes from the Lincoln Center Campus in Manhattan.
