There are always fun things to do in the Bronx. You can check out the Botanical Garden, The Bronx Zoo, Bronx River Art Center, Bronx Museum of the Arts etc. The city is only 20 minutes away on the D train. You can go to Harlem and visit the Schomburg Research Center, Studeo Museum of Harlem, LeRoy Neiman Art Center or SHRINE world music venue. You'll never be bored.

There are a plethora of clubs, and D1 sports (as well as club and intramural) that give lots of opportunities for all students.

You're in the middle of Manhattan-- the opportunity to participate in everything from Fashion Week to warehouse clubs in SoHo is there. The campus is a block from Central Park, which makes for a nice morning run, and is even closer to the Time Warner Center, if you can afford to shop at Hugo Boss. Both of these allow for quite a few celebrity sightings. The location is also at a main subway stop, so getting anywhere in New York City is a metro swipe away.

There are so many things that students could do for fun if they attend Fordham. There is the Bronx Zoo that students could attend, take a run in the Botanical Garden behind Fordham, play different sports, attend events that occur in Manhattan which is just a couple of stops away using the subway.

Go to the bars around the campus, go into the city, or just hang out with friends on campus. There are a lot of clubs - there's something for anyone.

There are pleanty of things on campus to do for fun, such as dances or club ran events. To get off campus Arthur Avenue is a great place for eating some authentic Italian meals, or walking up Fordham Road to the D subway line. The ride downtown to Columbus Circle is about 40 minutes. Once you are in New York City you can do mostly everything. Fordham is in such a great spot, where there is a campus and yet you are still in NYC. There is everything to do for any sort of person, from comic-con to fashion, from athletics to art museums.

I've heard that Rose Hillers (I'm pretty sure that isn't accepted lingo at Fordham, don't start using it) frequent 3 bars in the Bronx on a pretty regular basis, as well as throw massive college parties both on and off campus. LCers seem to have a more varied approach to fun - we are in Manhattan after all. We go out to eat, see shows, go to the movies, explore NYC, and also take in the bars/nightlife scene of NYC. Fun at FCLC is generally off-campus, so it can get really expensive.

New York City is a 20 minute and $8 train ride away, take advantage of it if you haven't already. Bars are somewhat easily accessible from campus.
