    It's New York City! Anything you could possibly think of is right at your fingertips. Anything from movies to museums, bars to concerts, or clubs to restaurants is within walking distance.

    Go into the city! Spend time on campus your freshmen year, as many people get very involved after their first year and lost their free time to simply hang out and chat - many people stay in their frosh year friend groups so it's important to try and meet people then - but otherwise just travel around NYC!

    There are all sorts of clubs to join that fit a wide range of interests. Aside from clubs, people hang out and play frisbee/tan on the main lawn (Eddies) or hang out in the dorms!

    There are plenty of places nearby to go out, especially on Arthur Avenue, home to the Bronx's Little Italy. The metro-north train and the D train are not too far away either, and those can be taken to get into Manhattan, where's there's endless amounts of things to do.

    There are countless clubs, some academic, some religious, some cultural. There are events throughout the week - often with free food, and many weekend events on campus too. But of course, there is the whole city to explore. Lincoln Center is a block away and they offer great student rates, as do many Broadway theatres 10-15 blocks south. Central Park is a few blocks away - great for a run, for a study nook, etc...
