The fact that there are two different choices on where to eat all three meals is amazing! You are not confined to just a dining hall. So many options on what to eat every day and you cannot beat the fact that Starbucks is now on campus.

I do not have a current meal plan but the plans they offer all seem great. The on-campus food selection is nice as well.

The dining hall has limited selections and usually serve pasta or rice. The Union has Pizza Hut and some other selections.

The food in the cafeteria is good, but not great. It gets boring. The food in the union is often fresher and better tasting, but it requires dining dollars instead of meal swipes. There aren't many other dining options in Hays.

The Union at Fort Hays has a newly added Starbucks, as well as a cafeteria offering a variety of different foods. The prices are reasonable and the quality of food is good. If you decide to leave campus, Hays offers a variety of different food places to choose from.

The food is decent. After living in the dorms for a year and thats all you have to eat, it does get old, but it could be worse. There is different dining plans you can have, and each semester you get a certain amount of dining dollars which lets you basically eat in the union cafeteria for free.

There are only a handful of fraternities and sororities on campus and they all do a lot of service work in the community.

I don't know a whole lot about the fraternities and sororities, but I do know that they do alot on campus and in the community as well. If you are looking for a lasting friendship in this way, greek life on FHSU is a great way to experience this.
