make sure your visit the campus becuase it's a little weird to be looking at in on paper or on the virtual 360 (on school website), you won't understand when they tell you it's like a community college but with the university feel. Plus it may look small but it is such a great school in a small community with LOTS of activities to do. The community really gets you invovled!!!!

    FHSU is a small and wonderful college located in an amazing town. The atmosphere is very intimate in the way that everyone has the ability to know everyone. It is easy to make friends and create an identity for yourself.

    Fort Hays State University is a great place to be involved, there are numerous clubs for everyone. This campus is not too big or little giving you enough time to get to and from your classes. Going to Fort Hays will help you prepare for the bigger things in life.

    Fort Hays State University is an excellent school with knowledgeable teachers and friendly students. The smaller campus size makes the learning environment more personal. Nice students and staff, quiet during the week, makes for a great learning experience.
