I am involved in many clubs and organizations on campus and there is never a dull moment. I am the President of our Student and Entertainment Board on campus and we always have events free for all Franklin Students. I have met my best friends at Franklin College and we always have something to do!

There are lots of different things to do for fun on campus and around campus. SEB is a student organization that works on finding fun events to do on campus and around campus.

We have the SEB (Student Entertainment Board) that plans activities throughout the year for the students. Also, there is plenty to do in the community, like visiting the Artcraft movie theatre! Also, we have an awesome location, since we are only about 25 minutes from Indianapolis, so many people go there for fun things to do!

You can go to the local bowling alley, movie theater, or old-fashioned theater. There is an organization on campus that sponsors events like free Ritters Ice Cream, Christmas at the Zoo, King's Island, Skyzone, and much more. This group also brings in fun guest speakers like an improv group and a hypnotist. All events like athletic games, plays, and concerts on campus are free for students to attend with their student ID. Sororities and fraternities host fun philanthropy events like beach volleyball, male talent show, a haunted house, and many more that everyone can attend. There are also many clubs and organizations that you can join that do fun events as well.

Just about every event on campus is free or under $5. We have plenty of off-campus options too since Franklin is so close to Greenwood, Edinburgh, and Indianapolis. Plus downtown Franklin has many options as well like various boutiques, restaurants, and a local movie theater.

Well, the Student Entertainment Board and Student Congress (two student organizations) put on events to provide the students with fun activities at little to no cost to the student.

I do activities with the organizations I'm involved with such as Tau Kappa Epsilon, IFC, and College mentors for kids. I will also just hang out with my friends and do what a typical college kid would do like play basketball, video games, and other fun things.

There is plenty to do. Anything from a sport game to a music program. Or if you get the chance like I did, to play in the on campus game that the students started as a way to relive stress. The theme was Humans vs Zombies when I went last fall.
