Take your high school into account - if you grew up in a small, private school and loved it, this is a good school for you. If you like the diversity and large-school feel of a public school, consider that into your search for the perfect school. Furman is very small compared to state schools and attracts students who are highly motivated to be successful, as there are many fresh off the boarding school bus, and have this work-hard/play-hard mentality.
