The small class size allows the teachers to take more time to make sure students understand concepts. Most teachers will help in any way to make sure that each student understands the material before moving on. The math lab is a BIG help!

Gainesville State college is a large college with few tutors to help you with the more difficult classes such as General Physics and Calculus. they do have great tutors but waiting for assistance can be annoying.

Gainesville State College is a very unique college. The walking distance to classes are fairly easy. The rooms are pretty small and have professers that are always open to help people succeed.

Gainesville State College offers a nice campus in a good area and is still expanding since the merge with University of North Georgia. Although space in the buildings and the classes is not an issue, parking can be a little chaotic and frustrating at times. I have had few bad experiences with professors at this school.

This is a good college to go to if your just out of High School and your not sure about the change into College. The teachers are great and they are really there to help you our with your studies. You also will have a lot of opportunities to get to know people that you are in classes with because they are small and not very big.

I would rate this school an A- for overall education experience. The school will be consolidating with North Georgia State college to become a North Georgia University. Most of the campus life is great even though some are bad.

Gainesville State College is a great school for individuals who prefer small class sizes. The tutoring department is great too. However, the account department is unorganized in student refunds.
