Student Life at Gardner-Webb offers something for each and every student Â?from a wide range of academic and cultural clubs to extensive volunteering opportunities and sporting events

There are many activities one can take part in. During the warm months students enjoy going down to the Broad River Greenway for a picnic, fishing, pictures, swimming, or to play on the playground. Right outside of town there is also bowling, movie theatres, and many shopping venues. On campus there are also activities every weekend from foam parties, to gameshows (in which you can win money), concerts, to sports games and bounce houses, balloons, FOOD, races, and much, much more! Student activities does a wonderful job of planning things for students and one great thing about Gardner-Webb is that there is Food at every event!

You can go play Ultimate Frisbee on the Quad, shoot hoops in the gym, work out in the fitness center, hang out with friends in the brand-new student center, and much more.

There's a couple of things someone could do for fun in Hickory like bowling, going to the park, swimming, etc.

There is a student center (Tucker Student Center) that provides students with many activities for students to enjoy. They have pool and air hockey tables, a movie theatre, a rock climbing wall, study rooms, multiple televisions, and a food court. They have a top quality weight room and gym for all sports. There is an outdoor climbing wall and obstacle course. Also a walking trail. The pool is accessible for free swimming. There is also a river next to campus for swimming, canoeing, and fishing fun. Gardner-Webb is the place for a great relaxing time with friends.

There are several different intramural sport teams available for everyone to play as well as constant activities in dorms, the Tucker Student Center and trips to Carowinds, Panthers and Bobcats games, and fan buses to Gardner-Webb games are available

Usually for fun, people travel to Gaffney or Charlotte. We also have our new student center that offers a rock climbing wall, pool tables, and a mini movie theater.

I usually hangout with friends play video games or something.
