» Read MoreDowntown Milledgeville! All of the shops and restaurants are great, and at nights, the bar scene is excellent. Macon is only 45 minutes away, so you can always drive there to do some shopping.
» Read MoreAlthough Milledgeville is small, they are plenty of places to go. The greenway is a fun place to go when you want to be outside, walk around, chill, throw the frisbee, or sit in an eno. Downtown is also pretty fun.

The Greenway is a great place to go for exploring the outdoors on your day off. Every Friday, Parkhurst hosts Magic: The Gathering night. Thursday nights are Improv nights at Blackbird Coffee Shop in the basement. Come support the Armed Farces, everybody!!!

Georgia College also offers a large Greek life, as well as active on-campus ministries and organizations. Georgia College is practically in downtown Milledgeville, as well, where there are neat antique stores, cute boutiques, and delicious restaurants to eat in.

However, Milledgeville has a quaint downtown area with many shops, and there is a nice park nearby. Out of the immediate college area, there is also a small mall, a movie theatre, a roller rink, and many other commodities.
