I knew I wanted to go to a college with small classes before I even applied to colleges. My favorite part about my classes is that my teachers know who I am because the classes are so small. Another plus to the classes being small is you know the teacher will be able to have time to answer your questions during class rather than you having to meet up with them outside of class. Georgia College is the perfect size. I made no mistake coming here and enjoy the atmosphere much more than a small school or even a large one like UGA. You won't be dissapointed!

There's nothing better than walking to class past the old historical buildings every morning, knowing you're walking to a better education. It's the prettiest campus I've seen in a quaint small town. Being a bobcat is the best decision I've made so far in my life.

Georgia College has a strong community that isn't limited to just one group, but includes pleasant students, faculty, and many organizations. It is not hard to fit in here, yet not hard to stand out if you want to. GCSU is a great combination of the energy and activity of a large university and the simplicity and community of a small college.

Since it is a liberal arts university, Georgia College can pride itself in being unique and very diverse. It offers great courses with professors who do, for the most part, care for their students. The class sizes are managable and the school gives opportunities to succeed well that other colleges do not give.

Georgia College is a school centered in the field of liberal arts, meaning that many, if not all, classes aim to take a broader focus on the topics being taught at the college. Professors attempt to relate course material to all walks of life, especially within the sociological and English fields. Community, unity, and solidarity are strongly focused upon.
