Don't be afraid to get involved. Personally, I love the invention studio, which is open to all students to learn practical skills in hobbies such as woodshop, stained glass, #D printing, and electric systems.

Outdoor excursions, intramural sports, club sports, and many engineering and major-specific organizations exist to get you involved. The Greek life is great as well.

It is in Atlanta, so there is plenty to do. The aquarium is close by, as is Atlantic Station (a shopping center) and both Piedmont Park and Central Park. The CRC has a fantastic workout center and pool, even a hot tub. In the summer chairs are set out for sunbathing. You can also book rooms to play tennis, basketball, and more, or take classes such as self defense. On weekends or over breaks campus usually has multiple events going on that are little or no money with your school ID.

There are lots of clubs and activities to get involved in on-campus, from Rambling Wreck Club to GT Solar Racing. Lots of people are involved in many different student organizations. Greek life is also pretty big here, and there are lots of activities happening there as well. If you're into partying there are greek parties pretty much every day of the week. Atlanta also has many art museums and is home to lots of musical venues, and big names pass through very frequently.

There are a lot of on campus activities. There is something to do practically everyday. The Frats on campus throw huge parties on the weekends and the school is located right in the middle of downtown so there's a lot of places to go.
