A lot of people are interested in partying, don't worry! I know tons of people who went out most weekends to fraternities, clubs, and off campus parties. The great part though, is being a pretty nerdy school, you can also stay in without feeling strange. People often just need a break from all the school work and have movie nights or I know a lot of guys just have video game marathons. Really whatever you want to do you can find people doing it!

Anything and everything! Cool activities are constantly going on through SAA, or there's always Frat Row or Tech Rec.

Unless you're the partying type, there's not much to do. On Wednesdays and Thursdays, buses travel to local bars for college nights. The fraternity parties are okay, but most people are awkward.

I am big into sports and I spend a lot of time playing sports with my friends at the enormous campus recreational center which I love. Also being in the middle of an amazing city I love going with my friends around the city whether it is a park or a mall.

Lots to do almost every club imaginable. Nightlife is great if you have a car and the right connections but can be bland otherwise

If you love the outdoors, come spend one day during the weekend with Outdoor Recreation Georgia Tech! Attending football games are big on campus because of the traditions.

You are in the middle of Atlanta! Go to the mall, go to many of the unique areas around the city, or any of the other opportunities being in a big city affords. If that is not your scene, there is plenty to do on campus from movies on Skiles walkway to all different athletic events.

There is always something going on around campus, whether it be a club meeting, a performance, or a random petting zoo in the middle of campus, there is always something to do. Or you could just go chill with your friends, or study if you're into that kind of thing.

In Atlanta, there are many parks and tourist attractions within driving distance of campus. If you don't have a car or can't find a ride off of campus there are intramurals and other sports teams that can be joined. The fraternities on East Campus typically throw parties during the weekends and some week nights, for those students who enjoy that scene. Also within walking distance (or a short cab ride away) there are the midtown bars. There are also a plethora of restaurants along the perimeter of campus. Atlantic Station is within walking distance of campus for those students who enjoy shopping or going to the movies.

Hang out with friends whether its just hanging with them in their dorm rooms, or going to parties together, or even studying together. Just find a group of people you really get along with and are as motivated as you to do well and you'll not even feel the pressures of this school as much as you would alone.
