Around Town

In Atlanta, there are many parks and tourist attractions within driving distance of campus. If you don't have a car or can't find a ride off of campus there are intramurals and other sports teams that can be joined. The fraternities on East Campus typically throw parties during the weekends and some week nights, for those students who enjoy that scene. Also within walking distance (or a short cab ride away) there are the midtown bars. There are also a plethora of restaurants along the perimeter of campus. Atlantic Station is within walking distance of campus for those students who enjoy shopping or going to the movies.

Hang out with friends whether its just hanging with them in their dorm rooms, or going to parties together, or even studying together. Just find a group of people you really get along with and are as motivated as you to do well and you'll not even feel the pressures of this school as much as you would alone.

You're in midtown. There is TONS to do. Shopping, movies, food, and you are located close enough that you can venture out to do more activities in nature.

There's plenty to do for fun. The recreation center is great, 6 basketball courts a recreational pool area, a lap pool and an entire floor of world class gym equipment. Plus, GT is right in the middle of Atlanta, so you're never more than a train or bus ride from any major events in the city.

Football games (and any sport for that matter) are an absolute blast to go to. Also, there are over 500 organizations on campus, so you're bound to find something you're interested in!

Football games are fun. Co-rec sports are a good way to meet people and blow off some steam.

There is plenty to do around campus (you're in Atlanta!). Go to a sporting event (Tech-related or otherwise), go to the Fox Theater, visit the aquarium, and much, much more.

The campus is in Atlanta, so anything going on is really close to get to if u have a car or money for MARTA. Also, there are plenty of fun activities on campus that go on so there's always something to do when you want to have some fun.

You are in downtown Atlanta, so there are endless things to do for fun. Get a group of friends and walk around midtown for a great evening.
