it is based on a higher learning, but you will be able to handle it just study hard and have good study habits and you will be just fine.

just because they have smaller classes, don't necessary mean it is a slap on the wrist, this mean you will have to study even harder, and be able to grasp to a fast paste learning experience.

Great for anyone wanting to get back into school and speed up the process to get into a 4 year school with their core classes out the way asap!

    Academic Rigor

Classes are half the time of normal schools, 8 weeks, so double the info in half the time! Teacher's are very helpful, as are the student faculty members, so it's very satisfying!

    Tips for prospective students

If you are looking to speed things up a bit, get your core classes out of the way, and just get into the swing of things if you've been out of school for a while, this is the place to go! I've had no problems whatsoever.

    In three sentences

The faculty and staff are very helpful and positive. Class sizes are small, so the learning experience is enhanced. Overall, this is a very good school to attend to get prepared for a 4 year college.

    Campus Safety

There's campus security, as well as things like a cop on duty, a teacher who is a state marshall, and call buttons in case of an emergency. I never feel unsafe on campus.

    Clubs and Activities

I just joined a honor society on campus, Phi Theta Kappa, and there's also ambassadors, debate teams, volunteer organizations and more. Lots to do and join.

    Bang for the buck

This is a great affordable option for obtaining your associates degree.

    What to do for fun

There is movie nights, holiday parties, debates, football games, volunteer opportunities, as well as plenty of lunch events where the school gets lunch catered for everyone. There's so much to do on campus and in the community through the school.

    Food and Dining

There is a small area where you can buy snacks, which is ideal enough when you are rushing between classes. However, there is lots of tables for you to bring your lunch into the student lounge. It's a great area.

    Dorm Life

    There are no dorms here.

    Academic Rigor

The academic rigor is a perfect balance for me, it isn't too difficult that I feel so overwhelmed and like I'm going to fail, however it isn't too easy to breeze through either. It helps me learn what I need to, which is what matters.

    Tips for prospective students

My tips for prospective students would be talk to your professor, there was not a single time that I brought a problem or question to them that they didn't do everything I could to help me. Don't feel intimidated.

    In three sentences

There is plenty of colleges that I have researched that seemed overwhelming where interacting with students just didn't seem to be a priority, however that's not the case at Georgia Military College. I feel like I'm a part of a big family there when I'm in classes, even when it's my least favorite subject, the professors make it enjoyable and allow me the ability to learn and not just rush through the material. Plus, there is so many great events constantly on campus.
