    If you are not a veteran or active duty military member I highly suggest enrolling on campus and the signing up for your classes online. It eliminates the need for waiting in line on campus and helps you to become familiar with the online systems put in place to assist you.

    DO NOT always take the super easy professors you read about on ratemyprofessors website! If you're going to be taking, for example; many math classes.. take a more challenging prof so info sticks with you and you're not sliding on by and you won't be overwhelmed when you take higher math.

    While community college may seem a bit daunting and underwhelming, the professors at GCC do challenge you. In addition, with flexibility in credit hours and prices, if necessary, you can have a job and go to school with little to no worry about whether your professors will work with you. This school just works, and it is a great starting point for any academic.
