    Make an effort and don't look at it as a junior college, but as the first step in your professional career. Take advantage of all the tutoring services and resources available. Last but not least enjoy it! College may seem like a drag because everyone is always thinking about finishing but it's not about getting there its about how you arrived.

    Try to do well and score high on the Accuplacer test. I had never been an honor student before, but I scored high enough to receive the President's Scholarship (pays for 15 credits each semester for 2 years as long as you have a 3.25 cumulative GPA)!
