In the spring, summer and fall, there are a plethora of hiking trails and scenic areas to visit. Right behind the school is Mount Zion which provides a great view of the Porcupine Mountain range. Also, with a short road trip, students can go to Duluth, Minn., or hit several of the bigger cities in Wisconsin. In winter, there are several ski hills in the area where snowboarding, skiing and innertubing are fun activities. There's also an abundance of hunting and fishing opportunities around the area.
