Categories Comments Great for these types of students Students looking to explore issues of faith related to their studies, students ready to be stretched and challenged in their faith.
Tips for prospective students Search for that scholarship money, if you can apply to be an A.J. Gordon Honors Scholar, do it. It's a great honors program, but it requires some commitment.
Bang for the buck It's expensive, but scholarships are available, and if you're committed, Gordon will find away. There's a wide variety of opportunities beyond classes.
Am enjoying being here The atmosphere at Gordon is totally unique! I'm always encouraged to keep learning and growing in my studies and my faith.
Am learning a lot Being at a Christian Liberal Arts school allows me to explore a wide variety of issues regarding faith and practice, while integrating course material in daily life.

Categories Comments Great for these types of students Students who want to strengthen their walk with God.
Tips for prospective students If you still have some time left get involved in community service, because Gordon really looks for students who are willing to be leaders in those areas. If it's possibly try to get you're grades up also, or you could miss out on some really good scholarships from Gordon.
Bang for the buck Gordon is really expensive but then again so is pretty much every private college in the United States. Gordon does realize that, and you can always go to the financial office if you think you're struggling, they're really nice there and will help you out.
Am enjoying being here Everyone is so nice and caring here, sometimes I think it depends on where you live because the community is better for freshman especially, in the hud dorms. For some the first semester might be difficult but if you stick it out it gets better.
Am learning a lot I'm constantly challenged here by my teachers and classmates. Even if you're in a lecture class you will be blown away by how smart your teachers are. You just know you're getting a quality education.

Categories Comments Great for these types of students If you enjoy getting to know other people and being recognized, Gordon is great for you. We have students from all over, and being a non-denominational school, we have people from all areas in their faith. It's a really diverse community, and it can be cliquey, but that's not incredibly overwhelming. If you don't enjoy socializing, Gordon isn't really a great fit.
Tips for prospective students Get involved with your classmates, join some kind of fellowship, anything to stay involved in your Christian community. I notice that it's the people who don't stay involved in the Christian community that don't end up enjoying it. It doesn't have to be a huge commitment, either. I only had a once a week bible discussion group of three people for an hour, but sometimes, that little bit is what you need to stay grounded in your faith.
Bang for the buck It is a really expensive school, so not coming from money has made it financially difficult, but ultimately, I feel like it is worth it. The amount I'm learning is great, and the atmosphere is really positive.
Am enjoying being here Going to a Christian school has really helped my relationship with God, and the people here help keep me on track. Everyone here cares about each other, so my first semester wasn't nearly as stressful as I was expecting.
Am learning a lot My first semester has been a huge learning experience for me. My professors care about me, and want to know how I am doing outside of school. I have learned a lot this semester, both academically and about myself.

Categories Comments Great for these types of students People strong in their beliefs but willing to learn about others and develop social skills with other Christians. Those who want to really explore ideas and concepts that are not considered in everyday life.
Tips for prospective students Visit the Campus!! Gordon was at one point my 4th out of 4 colleges that I wanted to go to. Then I visited and I instantly knew it was where I was supposed to start out my college career.
Bang for the buck Gordon is really expensive but my counselor was awesome and really wants to help me find as many scholarships as I can!
Am enjoying being here I love the atmosphere at Gordon!! Everyone was really friendly even to the non-students. I loved that I don't really have to worry about trying to ignore inappropriate conversations or wince when I hear a swear because there is very little! If I do hear something I don't want to it is very easy to get away from. Here I am encouraged to be more accepting of peoples differences. It is a very mature and welcoming atmosphere.
Am learning a lot The homework is difficult but compared to how my friends homework at her college is (very little and extremely easy) I am glad because I know I am getting a great education! Exploration is a big part of the learning experience here, which is very good for some people and not so good for others. You have to decide if you feel like exploring subjects, thoughts, and ideas constantly is a good thing for you.

Categories Comments Campus Safety Gordon is blessed with a teriffic public safety team who are available and active 24/7. They are friendly and open to any kind of service. A friend of mine has a disability and they would give her rides from her dorm to class. In the event of a medical emergency they are speedy, calm, and understanding. Go-Po (which is our nickname for them) even offers safety classes for women. Dorms are kept locked and an officer does rounds to check that buildings are closed properly. Smoking and drinking are prohibited on the grounds.
Greek Life there is none
Clubs and Activities Womens and Mens ministry. Bible studies. Various ministries. Worship Teams. Rec-Im. Athletic Teams. Student Government. Events council. Various job opportunities. Environmental Club. School Paper. Poetry magazine. Dorm-event planning. ALANA. Orientation Staff. and more. Activities change every weekend.
Great for these types of students Appropriate for introverts and extroverts alike. There are many spaces to escapte to, such as our library's nooks and crannies, but when you want to socalize there is Chesters Place. Dorm common rooms are lively, but hall-ways are fairly quiet. Academic rigor is expected, but not necessary. There is no pressure either way. Being an active Christian is not a must, but it would make the campus more comfortable. There are many opportunities for the more devout and faith support is abundant. International students are also very accommodated.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus Gordon has many traditions. Once a year a student will blast a bag-pipe tune from the chapel steps at an obnoxiously early hour. We have an annual male beauty-pagent of sorts and a student-made movie contest. Christmas is big on campus with a Christmas concert of large proportions, tree lighting, a ball, cookie decorating and other holiday activities. As far as locations go, we have several obscure locations. Two notable ones are our own private lake beach, and a prayer chapel decorated with student prayers and praises to God. Additionally, we have a room called Chesters where students hang out at all hours; its the best place to find community and random out-bursts of disney sing along.
Bang for the buck There are many job opportunities on campus. Students, even if they are not on a work-study scholarship can work for: grounds work, janitorial, dinning services, mail-room, the library, technology support, admissions, at the gym, or with educational support such as tutoring or being a teachers assistant (TA). No matter how you are involved the community on campus is AMAZING. You will find true friends who are fun, serious, or both. Even as a freshman you end up knowing half of the campus. It all begins with our equally amazing orientation program.
What to do for fun The Bennett Athletic Center is open for many activities and for long hours. Just a short walk or drive off campus are many stores and shops as well as the train into Boston. There are also many concerts, shows, dances and other random activities planned by our amazing events council.
Food and Dining There are many options for lunch and dinner. We have a salad bar, hot-line, deli line, grill, and pizza area on one level, and then a cafe with other, more detailed options. Snacks are available throughout the day. At night we have grill, fry, and snack options. Throughout the afternoon and until 2am we also have a latte bar available!
Dorm Life Active and intimate. People do everything from playing video-games or watching movies, to taking long walks or praying together.
Academic Rigor Depending on the program, some professors can get very intense with their assignments. They are however, very supportive and understanding if something happens to divert you from your studies. Large amounts of reading seem to be the norm, and essays abound at the end of the semester. There is however, a large amount of ease around finals time.
Tips for prospective students If you want an intimate, easy-going, yet active campus then Gordon is for you! It is however, a Christian campus so if you are not willing to hear peoples ideas about Christianity, and attend a few chapel services then I would caution you. Come visit and experience the amazing hospitality for yourself =)
In three sentences The academics at Gordon are challenging but if you are interested in the topic of study, studying is easier. The enviroment is what makes the school though; the friends you make will mean more than you would expect. Spirituality is abundant on campus and truly keeps you going and connected with your peers.

Categories Comments Great for these types of students People who are serious about their faith OR those who have a desire to learn more about Christianity and want to GET serious about their faith. Gordon's workload is large - so people who are willing and committed to school will flourish.
Tips for prospective students Get involved in your community and church NOW.
Bang for the buck Great school - very expensive. If you can work around the high expense - it's DEFENITLY worth it!
Am enjoying being here I have met the most incredible friends and mentors at Gordon. There is so much to do off campus, whether it be getting involved with the Gordon in Lynn program or doing community service right around Wenham. Boston is a mere half hour away and the beach is a 5 minute car ride from campus. There's plenty to do and so many opportunities to get involved!
Am learning a lot Gordon College challenges you both academically and spiritually. It's an incredibly great college with teachers and staff who are willing to go the extra mile to work with you. There are tons of opportunities to get involved in leadership positions, when ready, and even more opportunities to glean from other's knowledge and experience.

Categories Comments Campus Safety gordon has their own police on campus, gordon police, who are also campus safety. they are amazing at providing 24 hour access and patrol of the entire campus.
Greek Life if by greek life you mean greek students, then yes, we have some of those on campus! gordon does not have any fraternities or sororities.
Clubs and Activities gordon has numerous clubs and activities to choose from. each semester, you can find dozens of different small groups to join, for both women and men!
Great for these types of students gordon is great for all types of students! you'll just have to come and see for yourself!
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus gordon is home to gull pond, the largest and most prominent body of water on campus. take a short walk around the pond on the bike trail and you'll find the ropes course, home of la v.i.d.a., gordon's outdoor education classes! gordon is also a close drive to beautiful singing beach in manchester-by-the-sea. west coast students, you may want to just stick around for the summer!
Bang for the buck gordon is costly, like most private colleges. but for what you're spending you definitely get everything you could possibly imagine and more! gordon is worth every penny. but, do not let the cost intimidate! applying for financial aid, loans, and scholarships are all popular go-to's for most gordon students!
What to do for fun there is always plenty to do on-campus at gordon! campus events council (cec) are phenomenal at putting on great events, from coffee houses to dances! if you want to go off-campus to have some fun, that is also an option! no car? no problem! gordon collaborates with endicott college in north beverly, ma to provide a shuttle service around the north shore, going to places such as the t-station and the local malls! a night out in boston, anyone?
Food and Dining food and dining services at gordon are simply great! at gordon, you have a choice between dining upstairs or downstairs at gillies. upstairs in lane, you can get anything from wraps, to chicken fingers and french fries, to stir-fry. downstairs at gillies, although a bit more points from your meal card, you can indulge in anything from indian cuisine to caesar salad and bread bowls. the dining staff at gordon make your experience even better, being both helpful and friendly!
Dorm Life dorm life on campus is an enjoyable experience! whether you reside on the hill, consisting of the newer dormitories, or down on the quad in the hud dorms, you're bound to end up meeting amazing people and experiencing great residence life!
Academic Rigor academics are important to the students and the professors at gordon. at gordon, you will receive an exceptional academic experience whether you are a chemistry or a fine arts major, a freshman or a sophomore. expect to experience a curriculum that works to better your learning skills and knowledge as you grow.
Tips for prospective students prospective students should make it a first priority to engage themselves in all of the activities, tours, and scheduled off-campus activities. both other perspectives and current gordon students want to meet you! don't be shy. take in the new england weather, whatever it may be, and get a feel for campus. you will feel like you already are a student at gordon the moment you arrive on campus!
In three sentences gordon is one of the top christian liberal arts colleges in the states, and the only non-denomenational christian college in the states! gordon succeeds in presenting exceptional academics and student life on campus. with helpful, engaging professors and friendly students, you will feel both cared for and accepted at gordon.

Categories Comments Campus Safety gordon has it's own police force and is located in a small town on the north shore, a very safe area.
Clubs and Activities there are an incredible amount of ways to get involved in the school. there is a club for just about any and every interest one may have.
Bang for the buck the school is very expensive but the experience is great. i believe it is worth it, especially if you are looking for a good christian school.
What to do for fun there are a few famous malls nearby, beaches, and hangouts that most students go to. there are also many sports that go year round, inter-mural and official.
Food and Dining the food gets old fast since there is only one dining hall. the food quality is not bad, it just does not change very much.
Dorm Life most dorms have a very good community and there are plenty of people to interact with. some are smaller with only ten or twenty people in the entire building which is better for students who like silent places to work and live.
Academic Rigor the workload is huge but doable. i was not expecting all of the work but i quickly got used to it.
Tips for prospective students there is a lot of work but it is manageable. expect to be busy with work, but don't worry, there is plenty of time to spend with friends and doing what you want.
In three sentences gordon college is christian college with a large course load and a great community. there is an incredible amount of opportunities to get to know other students and make lifelong friends. gordon is situated on the north shore of boston so it is close to some of the best stores and restaurants and within minutes of some beautiful beaches.

Categories Comments Campus Safety gordon has its own police force, which is available on call 24/7. they are very helpful and in addition to keeping campus safe, they will even come give your car a jump-start if the battery dies!
Clubs and Activities gordon has many clubs and activities. all things are possible through the student government, which gordon's administration has authorized to approve clubs that students want to propose. among the clubs and activites that are student run are the campus events council, which coordinates every major event on campus, along with the student venues council, which maintains student spaces and proposes the addition of new ones. if you have an idea, you can form a club at gordon.
Great for these types of students -born-again christians/followers of jesus christ -new christians looking to challenge and deepen their faith -those pursuing ministry -those pursuing to implement their faith into their area of study
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus every sunday night, an event called catacombs is held in gordon's chapel. catacombs is an event where gordon students can gather to worship the lord jesus christ with one another. it is led start-to-finish by student worship leaders playing several contemporary instruments.
Bang for the buck gordon is expensive, but it's worth it in my opinion. you'll pay a lot, but you get a great education and great, life-long relationships out of it. although you'll pay a lot more for gordon than other colleges, it's important to keep in mind that gordon is still cheaper than many other competing schools.
What to do for fun gordon has many lounges around campus where students gather to play video games, watch movies, watch espn, and do many other things. in addition, the main dining hall has a cafe where students can order food up until 11pm while relaxing on a couch to watch the game. chester's, one of the campus's hotspots, is a tavern-like setting where students can get hot and cold drinks (non-alcoholic, dry campus) while either doing homework or hanging out with friends. there are also many places in the surrounding area (i.e. malls, restaurants, cafes, theaters, boston, etc.) where students can go for fun.
Food and Dining when the student government asks students to give an opinion on what they want to see changed, the number one response is dining services. students are not crazy about gordon's food, but the reality is that few schools (especially gordon's size) offer the finest cuisine.
Dorm Life dorm life is wonderful. i've been blessed to have great guys on my floor for two years now, and i'm looking forward to the next two years as well. the one draw-back to dorm life is the sometimes strick visitation policy, which makes it difficult for boyfriends and girlfriends (or just friends of the opposite gender) to hang out whenever they want to in their rooms.
Academic Rigor gordon has an impressive academic rigor. students are always slammed at finals season; gordon's academics should not be underestimated just because it is a lesser known school. every major has challenging courses that bring out the best in every student, while thoroughly preparing the students for the fields they are pursuing.
Tips for prospective students prospective students should certainly visit gordon before making a decision. a visit can make or break a decision, and it is important for prospectives to get a feel for the community before sending in their deposit.
In three sentences gordon college is an academically rigorous and spiritually uplifting institution that has benefited me as a young scholar and as a follower of jesus christ. gordon's community is one that is loving and open to members of all christian denominations. gordon offers many opportunities in the liberal arts and in christian ministries that makes it the perfect launching pad for a christian in today's society.

Categories Comments Bang for the buck Very Expensive but you will receive a lot of financial help. You just need to organize and apply for scholarships.
What to do for fun Take a walk, ride a bike, or hang out with some friends.
Food and Dining Food is pretty good. I have no particular complaints.
Dorm Life They have some nice dorms to live in. I think it all depends on the type of room mates you want. Most likely you will be matched with someone your type.
Academic Rigor Seems pretty tough from what I heard, but it isn't impossible. You just need to manage your time right.
Tips for prospective students The school will help you out financially but you should also apply for a lot of scholarships.
In three sentences Great campus, people there are very nice and will help you out.

Categories Comments Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus Marty's Donut Land in Ipswitch from 12am-4am!
Bang for the buck Gordon is expensive--no doubt about that. But with scholarships, financial aid, and work study it is manageable and you definitely get your money's worth: in and out of the classroom.
What to do for fun There are so many things to do off campus, like Boston, Salem, Gloucester, and Marty's Donut Land in Ipswitch at 1 in the morning! There are also things on campus. You will often find students up at 3 in the morning not doing homework but just hanging around playing music and having a great time together!
Food and Dining Lane food has a pretty good selection! My favorite is the salad bar and sandwich line. There is always fresh fruit and veggies!
Dorm Life There are many activities in the dorms! In my hall, Nyland, we have fun nights like Nyland Iron Chef and brother-sister floor dinners. It's a great way to get to know people and just have a great time together!
Academic Rigor Gordon gives a lot of homework! Some classes are harder than others, but all around you will get your money's worth!
Tips for prospective students Definitely visit and stay overnight! You see a lot more when you spend the night here.
In three sentences Gordon College is amazing! There are so many opportunities to connect with other students on campus and ways to make friends. There are so many fun activities around campus and within the dorms. Really great Christian school!

Categories Comments Great for these types of students Academic, spiritual, organized, hard-working, eco-friendly
Tips for prospective students Get scholarships! Also, bring a bike. It is a much smarter option than bringing a car to campus.
Bang for the buck This school is very pricey, but the price is worth it for those who are really seeking to be blessed by God in all aspects of their life.
Will enjoy being here The dorms and facilities are always well kept, and the food is great! They are very kind to their visitors and guest speakers as well.
Will learn a lot Gordon is both accepting and spiritual, as well as rigorously academic. It challenges you to create and share your own opinions on the past, present, and future.

Categories Comments What to do for fun Gordon is loaded with activities to pass the time and thoroughly enjoy yourself in the process. There is a beach just 5 minutes away on bike and its very close to Boston. However, many students feel it just as satisfying to spend their time in communion, and social activities.
Food and Dining When it comes to dining, there are a variety of options at Gordon to choose from. Most students prefer to eat at Lane Student Center known mainly for its cafeteria. It serves a variety of food for breakfast, lunch, and diner. If that isn't enough, there is a dinner just down stairs with even more.
Dorm Life Dorm life is fantastic at Gordon college. There are: community dorms which encourage social activity, suits that offer the same communion, and apartments for upper class students looking broaden their experience. I would recommend Gordon to any prospective student looking for a unique four year college experiance.
Academic Rigor Gordon like any college prides them self on the academic side of student life. They offer rigorous courses for a great number of studies. They also take into consideration their students workload and make it a goal to balance the field.
Tips for prospective students Get to know the campus by traveling solo. It is a whole different experience when your parents are not holding your hand. It encourages independence and prepares you for the inevitable departure from home.
In three sentences Gordon is a wonderful campus just 5 minutes from a nice beach. Everyone I met there was inviting, kind, and very generous. On top of it all, Gordon's staff and teachers are great company and easy to get along with.

Categories Comments Campus Safety Gordon is a small campus and very safe. I often go from the library to the dorms late at night, and have never felt uneasy. The campus police are only a call away if needed. The entrances are monitored and the dorms are locked.
Clubs and Activities Gordon has lots of opportunities to get involved. There are several Division III sports, intermurals, religious groups, political groups, musical groups, etc. There is definetly something for everyone.
What to do for fun I play a sport at Gordon, so our team does lots of fun things together. It is fun to just hang out, practice, and be together. Lots of activities are planned by our Dorm leaders where we get to hang out together, have celebrations, and have fellowship together. We are five minutes from the beach, so we hang out there sometimes. There are lots of trails for hiking and ponds for fishing close by.
Food and Dining The food is good, but a bigger variety or some restaurants in the dining hall would be good. You have to have a car to get to any restaurants, so eating on campus is usually what happens. Some variety would be helpful.
Dorm Life Amazing! I have already met so many awesome people in my dorm. We do lots of fun activities together, study together, pray together, and have become a family. It has really helped me ease into being away from home.
Academic Rigor The classes that I have had during my first year have been rigorous and enlightening. The professors are very knowledgeable and willing to assist if difficulties arise.
Tips for prospective students Gordon is an amazing place to get an education, but is expensive. Keep your grades up to receive scholarships and make sure you explore opportunities for Federal Aid. The Financial Aid office is very willing to assist you.
In three sentences Gordon College is an amazing place to get an education. The Christian based atmosphere lets you explore your faith and get a quality education. I rate Gordon very highly.

Categories Comments Great for these types of students Gordon is great for students who love to study, want a peaceful campus, are conservative. If you like to feel confident that you are safe, Gordon takes safety very seriously. Gordon is great for those who are looking for a college where everyone takes their education seriously.
Tips for prospective students Check out every aspect of the school. Make sure you know what the living conditions look like, what the food tastes like, the type of people that attend the school and the activities to do around the school. Do not just look at the education they have to offer. While that is the most important part, these other keys aspects will be sure to have a huge impact on your college career
Bang for the buck Gordon is very expensive. You will receive a great education while attending school here however, it will do damage to your bank account. If you can afford this school than you should definitely attend because you are guaranteed a great education. Just remember to figure out how you will pay for your education before starting college!
Am enjoying being here The campus is beautiful and if you have a car there are many places to go within a relatively small distance. However, it can be a little boring on campus because we are so small and it is a Christian college.
Am learning a lot At Gordon, you are sure to learn a lot no matter what class you are in. The professors are always there to help you in understanding the material. Some will even give you their home phone number in case you need their assistance. If you want to get a good education this is the perfect place.

Categories Comments Campus Safety Drug and alcohol free campus has strict security and their own campus police department, they are available 24/7. Emergency hotline, and lowest crime rate in the region.
Greek Life Why not just go to Greece? Studying in Greece programs are available. See the synagogues or ancient churches in Greece!
Clubs and Activities Gordon is a wonderful way to explore the world through its study abroad programs. on-campus clubs and activities are productive and constructive toward building up character and discipline.
Great for these types of students -Christian -liberal Arts -four year students -students who like the outdoor rural environment as well as city. -international or transfer students -students who wish to study in other countries through Gordon College.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus Students must attend chapel to achieve at least a minimal level of chapel credits in order to graduate. Students must at least do two volunteer activities in campus or abroad.
Bang for the buck roughly 50,000 U.S.D. a year, for four full time semesters.
What to do for fun There are beaches and malls in the area, it is near the South of Boston, there is free commuting to the city provided. Campus has its own back door woodlands that are ideal for recreational activities and athletics. There is also very beautiful places for those seeking more romantic environments.
Food and Dining Stir fried bar and nutritious shakes, salad bar and late night dinning are compensated by food and dinning credits. Students purchase meal points that are worth the bundle. There is also a hot line bar. If students chose to study abroad through Gordon, then food and dining options are dependent on the country one studying in.
Dorm Life Campus Dorms may compensate for a high range of housing for families with different income levels. Apartments are also available for those who wish to be more independent. There is a wide range of housing options for those seeking to stay on campus. -well trained resident directors and administrators -very friendly community and staff -acres of outdoor trails and ropes courses for recreational activities.
Academic Rigor State of the art science facilities Ken Olson Science Center and state of the art education makes this college very competitive in their mathematics and science department.
Tips for prospective students Attend the college tours before hand and take advantage of the vast amounts of programs offered near the city of Lynne. This would set individuals to be distinguished in terms of resume. There are vast numbers of options for studying abroad other countries as well! The college offers a vast network internationally.
In three sentences This College meets their critical mission statements, to help prepare students engage this changing world, with liberal arts education-that interconnects faith with reasoning. Categories Comments Campus Safety Gordon employs its own public safety force which allows for escorts and is on call in case of emergencies at all times.
Greek Life There are no fraternities or sororities at Gordon.
Great for these types of students Students who are seeking a quiet, rural, community-style campus with access to the Boston area, and seeking a liberal arts education art particularly in the areas of foreign language study and linguistics.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus There are frequent barbecues, social gatherings, movie viewings, game get-togethers, and seminars around campus.
Bang for the buck Despite being an academically rigorous school, Gordon's tuition seems slightly overpriced.
What to do for fun The closest off-campus attractions can be reached by the weekend shuttle system or with the use of a car. There are a few malls and cafes in surrounding towns. Boston offers a good amount of attraction and night life as well. On campus there are fewer options for social gatherings.
Food and Dining The student center contains an upstairs and downstairs dining hall. Upstairs there is a hot line, a sandwich line, a salad bar, grill, and pizza line. Downstairs there are often several vegetarian/vegan options such as pasta salads and a grab-and-go. The food quality is acceptable but not extraordinary. Even with several of the options, the menu becomes repetitive, particularly for vegetarian students.
Dorm Life Most of the halls are small and have a close-knit, community feel. Many people appreciate the family atmosphere in the halls. Several of the dorms, particularly the HUD halls, are quite close to classrooms and the student center, but their facilities are not as new.
Academic Rigor Most of the professors make it a goal to teach the class material thoroughly and manage class time efficiently. The workload for almost all majors at Gordon is intense and a student should expect a good amount of homework from the start of the semester.
Tips for prospective students I would suggest registered on time or even early. There is a long set of steps which help ease the application and preparation process for attendance at Gordon College, and the entry process is easiest when the deadlines are adhered to.
In three sentences Gordon College has a beautiful campus and a small community-style atmosphere. I enjoy the location despite its lack of night life and nearby attractions, but I don't love the close-knit feeling. At times I wish the school were a little bit bigger, but its facilities are quite acceptable for its size.

Categories Comments Great for these types of students Christians/Catholics
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus Places of interest include Nick's Roast Beef, Marty's Donuts, Five Guys Burgers and Fries, and much more.
Bang for the buck Tuition is costly, but the experience is like no other.
What to do for fun Boston is close by. There are also many great places to eat.
Tips for prospective students Gordon is a place where Christians from all backgrounds are welcome. It is a place where your faith will be strengthened. The academics are rigorous, too, so be prepared to work hard.
In three sentences Gordon is an academically rigorous, yet loving community. I feel loved and accepted here, as well as challenged. The campus is beautiful, located just outside of Boston.

Categories Comments Food and Dining I always found something I liked, but a lot of my friends had a harder time. There wasn't enough seasoning in the home-cooked line.
Dorm Life Wonderful students, and Residence staff!
Academic Rigor Some say the academics rival Harvard.
In three sentences A wonderful school with rigorous academics. This school is able to combine faith and learning. The campus atmosphere is wonderful.

Categories Comments Campus Safety The Gordon Police (GoPo) are the most intense police force that I know. The best way to describe them is to give an example of their heroics. A student from a different campus came to Gordon's campus for Homecoming. Someone noticed him going through purses. He ran off and GoPo chased him and tackled him! They are no force to mess with because they love the people they protect!
Clubs and Activities There is more than one for anyone! Science clubs, mario smash bros tourneys, art clubs, language clubs, comedy clubs, coffee night concerts, concerts of all kinds (including metal), and more!
Great for these types of students Gordon is great for Christians who want to apply their beliefs and not compartmentalize their lives. Intellectual Christians who think and question are perfect for Gordon. New Christians who are unsure what to believe should go here. Also, anyone wanting to learn how to question God in a healthy way would thrive here.
Bang for the buck Gordon is kind of spendy but it is worth it. The professors work very hard to make sure that you get your money's worth. They push you hard and do what they can to teach you as much as you can retain. It is difficult, but they help you to do it.
What to do for fun There are plenty of groups on campus that are always planning events. Also, take a free shuttle off campus and hit up malls or take the T into Boston.
Food and Dining The chefs work hard to have variety. If you are strictly vegan or you need glutton free foods, I wouldn't suggest Gordon. Also, there isn't much variety for vegetarians. For omnivores and carnivores though, the food is amazing!
Dorm Life The dorm life at Gordon is simply amazing! I had little in common with people on my floor but we all wanted to get to know each other and so we were all fast friends! Everyone is pretty responsible too so I didn't have to worry about annoying late night parties.
Academic Rigor At Gordon, you are not only studying your major of choice, you are also learning how your faith applies to that major. Granted, Gordon is not an MIT or Harvard, but it is still incredibly difficult at times. Professors do an incredible job of helping you to do it and peers are willing study partners, but be prepared to work hard and get your money's worth at Gordon.
Tips for prospective students Talk to professors and students in the field you are interested in.
In three sentences Gordon college is an intellectually Christian school with an amazing community. Professors encourage students to think about what they believe and how it applies to every aspect of their lives including vocation. Students peers challenge each other and build each other up in a way that builds incredible friendships!

Categories Comments Campus Safety Gordon's campus safety work round the clock making sure everyone is protected. There have been little to no major incidents on campus. Petty theft is not taken lightly and given much attention when it occurs.
Greek Life There is no fraternity or sorority life on campus. However, for certain majors there are programs that invite juniors and seniors of high academic standings to be apart of.
Clubs and Activities There is a huge number of clubs for anyone to take part of. The Student Government of the school is very professional and not to be taken lightly. There are elections for those who are interested in making changes on campus. As for activities there is something big going on almost every month.
Great for these types of students Anyone who is looking to foster their faith and learn more about Christianity will get a lot of the Core classes. The Liberal Arts environment is great for more artistically inclined individuals. Gordon is very big on sports, especially Lacrosse. Anyone who loves sporting events will enjoy cheering for the teams.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus Gordon Globes is a yearly event where students submit videos to be voted on. There is a red carpet entrance and pre-party to get everyone excited. At the end of the year there is the Golden Goose event where 3 male students are picked and compete in a talent show.
Bang for the buck Even though Gordon is expensive it is worth every penny. There are concerts held right on campus and with the low number of students there is a good chance of getting to talk to the band. The academics offer a broad look at many subjects and every student gets the chance to get to know either their advisor or some professor.
What to do for fun Boston is only 30 minutes away and there are multiple train stations to take students into the city so they don't have to drive. There are also a number of local joints that every student should experience. Marty's Doughnut Land is open at midnight and is a fun late night break to take during finals.
Food and Dining While the food may be questionable at times there is a highly qualified staff of chefs who work a number of hours to make meals good. Gordon offers a late night option after dinner which offers more fast food as well as pizza and ice cream.
Dorm Life The Residence Life staff work hard to make dorms feel like home. RAs work to make student's life both spiritually fulfilling and fun. There are always events happening in the dorm as well as will surrounding dorms. There is the Hill Grill and King of the Hill on Upper Campus and a number of BBQs on Lower Campus.
Academic Rigor The academics at Gordon are not to be taken lightly. There are high expectations from professors and the work load requires commitment. The TAs of the class normally offer multiple study sessions each week to go over the material covered in class.
Tips for prospective students Even though some of the rules are extreme and some people may seem a little off, there is no reason to let those aspects defer from applying to Gordon. The people are all wonderful and there is always a group you can fit into. Gordon offers monthly events put on by the Campus Events Council that are quite exciting.
In three sentences A wonderful institution to foster an understanding of the Christian faith. Some of the rules are somewhat questionable but understandable in perspective of Christian doctrines. The smaller size makes for a great community.

Categories Comments Campus Safety It's a really safe campus. Out of the way and home to largely honest and upright folk, many students feel free to leave doors unlocked or bags unattended, and walking around campus at night is no worry.
Greek Life We're a dry campus: no Greek life here! (Unless you want to count the Biblical studies majors brushing up on the ancient language!)
Clubs and Activities Gordon has so many options! You name it, they probably a club for it! If they don't, starting a club isn't very hard, either.
Great for these types of students Students who want Biblically-based scholarship will find a perfect fit here. The school nutures its students spiritually and emotionally along with academically. Close-knit community is a buzzword around here. The professors often get to know their students well, and working closely with them is almost a given. This is also a good place for people who want to avoid the party crowd.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus Every year our school has a film festival, Gordon Globes, an talent show, Golden Goose. Both are quite fun. Lots of events take place out by the pond, and many a student take a late-night trip to Marty's, the donut shop that doesn't open til midnight!
What to do for fun Gordon has tons of options, if you are used to living outside the city. There's almost always an event going on, and the woods on campus makes it easy to go hiking, biking, swimming, even camping!
Food and Dining Some people complain about the food, but really its quite edible. More often than not, it actually is tasty. Sure, its not home-baked cooking, but what do you expect from a cafeteria? It's really good for cafeteria food!
Dorm Life The RAs are always really cool. Alot of students become really close with their floormates or dormmates, and floor or hall events are always really fun! Some people find the visitation hours annoying (Only during certain hours are boys allowed on girls' floors and girls on boys' floors) but it makes the environment really safe.
Academic Rigor Taking 4 classes a semester at Gordon was manageable, but that was compared to taking 8 classes in high school, 5 of which were AP/honors. The professors expect you to know your stuff, and don't shy away from challenging you.
Tips for prospective students Come to campus and see what it's like. Talk to the professors while you're here: they're the ones who will be making the difference in your education.
In three sentences Gordon is a great school with an emphasis on seeking understanding like its our job. Everyone is crazy about honoring God and being a community. If you're looking for a high-caliber education in a close-knit Christian environment, Gordon's the place for you!

Categories Comments Campus Safety The campus has amazing security's and they are always friendly and ready to serve you
Clubs and Activities There aren't a whole lot of activities to do outside of the main campuses event council, not like there Is any time to go to them!
What to do for fun There is so much to do outside of campus. I would recommend bringing a car or going out exploring with friends because the areais jammed packed with things to do. The beach is only a 7 minute drive, there are hundreds of restraunts and adorable coffee shops, and a couple indie movie theaters. There is always something to do!
Food and Dining The food is close to horrible here. Its always overcrowded in the food building, they always make it in large flavorless amounts, it's expensive, and their isn't much to chose from
Dorm Life Dorm life is unfortunately not so well. Most of the dorms are HUD dorms and need to be rebuilt or renovated. If you want to live in a newer dorm request chase or living on the hill. These ones aren't even ten years old yet and have ac!
Academic Rigor Gordon college is know for its rigorous academic schedule. You to complete core classes, the, attic core classes, and then all the classes for your major. The par is very high there and a lot of time is spent doing homework.
Tips for prospective students Definitely plan enought ime for homework. There is a lot going on your freshman year that your studies can be easily neglected. Make sure to work hard before you play hard
In three sentences Overall, Gordon College is a decent school. It is very rigorous academic wise which makes it a top school, but the food center and dorm situations are not up to par. The campus is beautiful though and there is plenty to do in the area

Categories Comments Campus Safety Super safe. I only keep my dorm door closed when I sleep and nothing has ever been stolen.
Greek Life Oh there's geek life. PC and Mac labs available for use whenever.
Clubs and Activities More clubs than you could ever ask for. You'll have to limit yourself so you have time to study.
Great for these types of students People into hipster things, anyone looking for an awesome liberal arts education.
Bang for the buck All colleges are overpriced in my opinion, but the experiences I've had at Gordon so far have been priceless.
What to do for fun Check out a shore at the North Shore Music Theater, go to nearby Boston for a concert or great Italian food, or just hang out in downtown Beverly. There's also the beach! Plenty to do around Gordon College.
Food and Dining The food is average, but I can't boast of it. There's one dining hall and two cafes on campus. It's cafeteria food, so you can't expect too much I suppose.
Dorm Life In my experience, the dorms are awesome. I've had wonderful community experiences and the residence life staff are all top notch.
Academic Rigor Gordon College is no easy institution. Come here expecting to work hard for your grades. If you apply yourself and just get your work done, you'll be fine. Just don't slack off, it never ends well.
Tips for prospective students Gordon is a school for students who have a desire to learn. If you aren't interested in working hard and utilizing Gordon's fantastic professors, think about maybe looking elsewhere.
In three sentences Gordon is located in a beautiful area of Massachusetts, and it's 30 minutes from Boston! Professors are awesome and very willing to help you. Commitment to academic rigor and care for students is well-balanced.

Categories Comments Campus Safety Gordon has it's own security and police on campus. You can call them from your room phone or cell phone, or hit one of the saftey buttons on campus and they will come see what is going on. They do numerous rounds during the day and night. However, they cannot travel off campus to help you if you are in trouble.
Clubs and Activities It is very easy for students to get involved on campus, and there are a plethora of different clubs and things to do. Several times throughout the year, Gordon has fairs with booths representing different clubs and activities so that all students know what is going on.
Great for these types of students This college is obviously great for Christians. Also, because it's small, it's good for students who are shy or come from a small town. It is also good for students who were in AP classes in high school because those students will be able to handle that amount of work.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus Gordon has a few traditions that are unique to this campus. We have The Bell, which students ring when they get engaged (Ring by Spring, ladies!) and everyone on campus can hear it. If you ring the bell and you're not engaged, you get 7 years of bad luck.
Bang for the buck Gordon College is really expensive, so make sure you are very invested in a Christian education. If you are, then it will definitely be worth your money because every program is based on looking at the world through the lens of the Bible. Every professor is a Christian and it is great to be able to ask them questions about God. That's not something you can get at every school.
What to do for fun Gordon is super close to Boston which is great, but it is also in the country and next to the beach. Therefore, lots of Gordon students go swimming and tanning in the spring and summer, and in the fall there is apple-picking, hiking, bike-riding, etc. The winter is when we all go to the Northshore Mall and the Liberty Tree Mall to shop because it gets really cold up here, so there isn't much else to do. Gordon students soon learn of the local hangouts such as Starbucks and Marty's Doughnuts.
Food and Dining The food tastes great and there are a lot of vegan/vegetarian options. However, it obviously gets old after a while because they don't add too many new things to the menu throughout the year.
Dorm Life Dorm life is great because everyone is your brother and sister - there are no fraternities and sororities or clearly defined social groups. We are all friends with each other, especially because it is such a small school. Every dorm has tons of fun and the RAs make sure that we get involved with our floormates. There are a lot of get-togethers and activities to meet and hang out with new people. The only downside of dorm life is the fact that the dorms themselves are pretty old. There are a few new buildings, but for the most part there is no air conditioning and almost all of us have community bathrooms.
Academic Rigor The classes are exceptionally difficult with a lot of hard work. No one gets off easy. The students here are very academic-minded, and those students who don't work hard see their lack of effort reflected in bad grades.
Tips for prospective students Be prepared to be challenged mentally and spiritually by your classes and peers - in a good way. Gordon really encourages its students to face the hard questions we all have head on and seek out answers, no matter what.
In three sentences Gordon College is a great place to grow and continue to develop your identity while feeling safe and unjudged. The staff really love to make personal connections and relationships with the students on campus and there is a great atmosphere for Christians speaking into one another's lives. A Gordon education is well-rounded; however, it is something that goes beyond classes and grades - it is an education that encourages strength, integrity, an open mind, and hard work.

Categories Comments Campus Safety The safety on campus is top notch. The security guards are all certified police officers as well as certified EMT's. They are very nice and are there to help.
Clubs and Activities There are many activities available but if there is one that you would like to start you can and if you make a budget the school may even give you funding for your club.
Great for these types of students The school has a great Music Education and Biblical studies department. We also have a high quality business and communication's department as well.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus First of all we have a castle which is awesome. There is also a bell in front of the castle and if someone gets engaged they are supposed to ring the bell.
Bang for the buck The music education program is ranked in the top 5 of the entire east coast. The teachers in the music department are leaders in their field. The community is a very safe and loving environment.
What to do for fun There are many on campus activities available such as dorm against dorm sports. There are many different concerts that for the most part are free for students to attend. You are also next to Boston, the mall, plenty of beaches. There are also many trails and woods to explore.
Food and Dining The food is very quality food but it does get boring after a while but the students are trying to change that. There is a normal dinning hall, a pizza shop for the evenings as well as a grill, and a drink shop.
Dorm Life The dorms are fairly recent and some are on the verge of brand new. Their are many different styles of living available on campus. There are many activities like doge ball which help foster floor relationship.
Academic Rigor The professors expect you to learn a lot but remember all of the money you are paying to get into the school. The more knowledge you are expected to know then it is very likely their will be more knowledge to obtain.
Tips for prospective students Make sure you pray and ask God if this is where he wants you. Come into the school with an open mind and make friends with as many people as you can these students can become valuable connections in the future.
In three sentences Gordon is a very loving, caring and nurturing environment, The professors want to help you succeed in their classes and want you to make the connection to the broader world. The school is rather expensive but it is worth every penny.

Categories Comments Campus Safety Gordon Police also known as Go-Po are very effective. They deal with wide ranging problems, from someone afraid of killing a spider to the occasional person that misbehaves on campus.
Clubs and Activities There is a great variety of clubs and activities on-campus; someone is bound to find something that interests them. In the beginning of the year there is a club fair.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus On campus there is a huge bell that when rung can be heard throughout the whole campus. The bell is only to be rung only when one becomes engaged; if rung otherwise there is a myth that that person will never get married.
What to do for fun About 10 minutes from the college is a very big and well-known mall. Not very far from the campus is a place called Marty's Donuts, many students enjoy going there for a study break. There are also dances, pep rallies, and other activities on-campus.
Food and Dining There is a good variety of food at Gordon. They also have a good system of meal points, where food is included in the tuition.
Dorm Life Some of the buildings were made in the mid 1900's, but nevertheless are kept in good condition, and each building has different events to help students and RA's to get to know each other. The RA's and RD's are also very caring and willing to offer advice.
Academic Rigor Gordon College is very rigorous academically; however there are professors who care about the studentâ??s success and classmates who are willing to give advice on how to do well in each professors class.
Tips for prospective students I recommend that students that would like to attend Gordon College to try their hardest in high school, to visit the school, and to NOT miss the deadlines.
In three sentences Gordon College is a great college in which a student can discover their God-given calling. It is conveniently situated 10 minutes from the city. The college's rigorous academics and caring professors encourage their students to succeed.

Categories Comments Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus La Vida and Discovery are required core classes and they are the best classes! La Vida is a 14 day trip into the wilderness. Discovery is a similiar class broken up into a quad class. Less intense as La Vida, there is less wilderness, but there is still a camping trip at the end of the class.
What to do for fun There are many things to do for fun! There are the obvious-hanging out with friends, going to the lovely gym (Bennett) or attending a sporting event. But there are some more obscur activities that Gordon offers. There are juggling, skateboarding and many other clubs. Also, many musicians come and perform as well as coffee houses and other choirs. There are dances also, frequently held by individual dorms.
Food and Dining I am a vegetarian and an athlete so I must watch my diet very carefully. Unfortunately, nutrition is not the priority at Lane (the dining hall). However, most people do not have a problem finding food to eat. Do not let the cuisine, or lack thereof, push you away from Gordon.
Dorm Life Each dorm is different. My dorm is incredible. We have a great events council and we have events quite often. Even though it is one of the largest dorms on campus, there is a massive sense of community. We are one large family. However, this was because efforts of specific individuals. Other dorms are content to be more independent. Dorm life is what you make of it.
Academic Rigor I took classes that were on the easier side and I was still challenged. There was a lot of reading and writing, but my professors were very helpful and pushed me to reach the next level of academic excellence.
Tips for prospective students Talk to current students and the professors. You will discover another side of Gordon that isn't as obvious from just the tour.

Categories Comments Campus Safety I saw no safety problems. As for theft, there were bags and laptops sitting out all over without owners. Outside the buildings, people could just leave bikes, skateboards, longboards sitting there with no worries. Very trusting :)
Clubs and Activities They don't have some things (for example, cross country skiing), but there's a huge variety of activities/clubs for languages, sports, interests, not to mention Bible studies, which is really awesome. Huge variety, there's something for everyone.
What to do for fun there's trails for running, clubs, intramural sports, and a sports center you can use--it has a pool :) Plus, there's a shuttle that can take you to neighboring towns/cities or the beach, when it's warm.
Food and Dining It was all right. It doesn't really compare to food from any other colleges I've visited, but they have some good stuff. Fro-yo and peanut butter & marshmallow fluff sandwiches :D They have flags hung up in the dining hall to represent every country, which is really cool. There's a lot of options for food, breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and snacks throughout the day.
Dorm Life On my campus visit, I stayed in Lewis Hall and all the girls on the floor seemed pretty close. We played games one night and watched a movie the other. The RAs organize dorm activities, too, including talent show stuff and just social events. Roommates are chosen based on a questionnaire the first year; two people to a room. The community was great.
Academic Rigor The girl I stayed with was definitely challenged with the scholar program she was in. It's not unmanageable though, and most people have the chance for a social life outside of academics :)
Tips for prospective students Visit campus!! It's a great opportunity to see what this college is all about! It helps me a lot in decision-making and I'm hoping to go there.
In three sentences When I visited Gordon, it seemed to have a really caring community. I loved that Christ was so prevalent. Students and faculty alike seemed to have really great relationships, and the whole campus seemed really well-rounded.

Categories Comments Campus Safety You've never felt so safe in your life! The people working for campus safety are also always very friendly.
Greek Life No such thing here... There aren't any fraternities or sororities.
Clubs and Activities If there's something you enjoy, there's a club. If there isn't a club yet, you can make one. The juggling club seems to be pretty big right now, though.
Great for these types of students It may seem a little too general, but in my opinion you'll love it here if your a Christian and looking for community and deepening your faith. There are all sorts of backgrounds here, but I have found those to be largely-relateable.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus Annual events like The Gordon Globes and Golden Goose seem to be a huge part of the winter and spring quarters. There are a few iconic places like Chester's (a place for studying, laughing, and drinking coffee), and the Chasement (where many events are held). Also there's the monthly Coffeehouse, featuring resident musicians.
Bang for the buck Gordon is very pricey, I won't deny that. However, for the education you receive and the overall experience, it is QUITE worth it! Just be ready to incur a large sum of debt, or else get many, many scholarships.
What to do for fun Over the weekend, Gordon can sometimes seem like a ghost town... Everybody likes to either take the shuttle to the two nearby malls, or else drive to a nearby beach or city. During the week, however, campus life is thriving--there always seems to be something to do after classes get out! If that doesn't appeal to you, then there is always the surrounding woods with walking trails and lakes.
Food and Dining There is usually a variety of good food being served, but there are a few things to watch out for. Many people don't seem to like the various chicken dinners, but I haven't found a reason to complain (yet). Some things are REALLY good, but for the most part it's just a little above average. Watch out for the hours, though.
Dorm Life In all of the dorms I have visited, there is an abundance of fun and joy! Everybody tried recruiting people to come to their own building because it's the best one. Keep in mind, though, that boys and girls are separated, and there are strict visitation hours/rules.
Academic Rigor All of the classes I have taken have been challenging--they require you to actively be engaged in class, and to do all outside assignments. Some courses take a lot of investment, but I have yet to take one that hasn't been useful.
Tips for prospective students Be prepared for life-changing experiences. Perhaps it won't happen in your first year as it has mine, but Gordon College really makes you take a deep look at your faith. They challenge you to discover God's role in your own life in a very personal, compelling, and wonderful way.
In three sentences Gordon is a wonderful liberal arts college for any Christian! Although academics can be rigorous, there are many opportunities to expand not only your learning, but also your faith. Yes, it is challenging, but it is also a worth-while investment.

Categories Comments What to do for fun Hang out with friends, go to the mall, watch Netflix.
Food and Dining The food is not that great but it is not that bad either. It is moderate - you will get used to it.
Dorm Life Gordon has great community and the RA's are amazing!
Tips for prospective students Do not come here if you are not a real Christian or if you want to party all the time. The academics here are very challenging so make sure you are prepared!
In three sentences It is a nice school that has great community. They have a lot of great networking opportunities for students. I love how friendly and genuine the people are.

Categories Comments Campus Safety Public Safety has personally bailed me out several times - I had a flat tire numerous times and a dead battery and they were also glad to help me out. They never complained!
Greek Life None of that here!
Clubs and Activities There are plenty of options and they're very welcoming. Come join kinesiology club - we do tutoring, play sports together, spread health awareness on campus, and visit cool places off campus together!
Great for these types of students Any learning style - professors cross reference into all types so that everyone learns in their own style!
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus Marty's Donut Land between 12-4 am. Bell legend - don't ring the bell on campus before you're engaged or you'll have 7 years of bad luck in relationships. Ring before spring - once you're engaged the spring before graduation, go ahead and ring that bell!
Bang for the buck Gordon is pretty expensive, but because of the atmosphere and the fantastic professors, it's really worth it. I've grown immensely here and I've made great friendships with students and professors alike. You find a positive attitude in most people you encounter!
What to do for fun There are TONS of beaches within a few miles of Gordon. Two malls within 10 minutes, beautiful roads for biking or running, many acres of wooded hills on Gordon campus to roam, and many restaurants. Most kids visit Dusty's Ice Cream, Marty's Donut Land which is open between 12-4 am, hit up the beaches, malls, and go into Boston (40 minutes away) whenever they can!
Food and Dining Though some complain of a lack of variety, I'm pretty satisfied with the food at Gordon. There are always the safe options at every meal where you can eat if you have no other choices - the grill, sandwiches, pizza, pasta and salad. Otherwise, the main courses are usually very good - steak, steamed veggies, fish, casseroles, and more. Specials are always good, like paninis, pad thai, burrito bowls and soup in a bread bowl! You'll always find something you like! The only downside is that the hot food line options on the weekends are a little repetitive.
Dorm Life I live in the HUD halls, which are the cheaper, older ones, and if they're a 5 out of 5, so must be the nicer halls! The relationships I've made on my floor are lasting ones - we have TONS of fun yet find time to share life stories, talk about our faith and struggles, and challenge each other to become more refined! The dorms themselves are nice and cozy and there are tons of opportunities for fun with the floor, with brother floors, and with the dorm or campus as a whole! Also, our RD is a LOT of fun and she opens her apartment, fridge, and DVD collection up to us anytime we're in need :)
Academic Rigor Though some classes are pretty relaxed, the kinesiology major is very demanding - by itself, the kinesiology department gets a 5 out of 5 for academic rigor because of all the things you're required to know about human anatomy. You're not just required to memorize over 100 muscles, their actions, origins and insertions - you're required to understand how everything works, apply it to brand new situations and questions, and make inferences! You're thoroughly employed with studying when you take on the kinesiology major!
Tips for prospective students As soon as you know what you're going to pursue in college, make sure you take the prerequisites that you need. Don't waste time in classes that won't count! Focus on your academics and be prepared to have God rock your world next year here at Gordon! You faith will grow immensely, you'll make the friends of a lifetime, and you'll be challenged academically!
In three sentences This college is such a blessing to me spiritually and academically! The professors are faith-based and caring, and they push you to challenge yourself and find God in every venue. The campus is beautiful, students are kind and friendly, the opportunities are endless, and Gordon has good relationships with companies all through Boston, making internships very simple and diverse!

Categories Comments Campus Safety They are friendly and willing to help you with ANYTHING. I was visiting one, and I was sick, and one of the officers drove me from the building I was in to the dorm I was staying in, and he was happy to do it. They're amazing!
Greek Life None
Bang for the buck It's costly. True. But so incredibly worth it.
What to do for fun Everything! There are frequent concerts held in the chapel (recently for Gungor and Lecrae) and always student events. The Sweaty-Toothed Madmen (the student improv group) has frequent, hilarious shows.
Food and Dining You go through and pay like you will in the real world - no open buffet. But everything from the make-your-own waffles to the ice cream machine is to die for!
Dorm Life Evans is great for new students, and Chase is a great community.
Tips for prospective students Apply in full honesty in your essays. Hold nothing back and be creative.
In three sentences Between the Christian environment, the terrific people, and the gorgeous campus, Gordon is perfect. I have visited three times and always leave feeling loved and accepted. There is never a dull moment on campus.
