Around Town

The town is small so there isn't much to do but there are a lot of campus events helps which are free to students.

Gordon has a game room and many common centers. There is definitely something for everyone here.

I was involved in band and chorus. I was a music major, but we had many non-music majors and community members that were a part of those organizations too.

There are always some form of athletic events happening on campus. Along with these, the student life department is very good about keep the resident life occupied.

There isn't much to do at Gordon for fun. It's in the middle of nowhere.

Hang out with friends.

If you are attending this college I recommend that you join sports and student club activities. Taking part in these festivities will make your overall experience enjoyable.

Not much fun around Lamar county, but if you have a car, Griffin and Macon offer fantastic venues.

Get involved with the school, because there are a constant stream of activities going on! There is always something to do at the school, and it's a great way to make more friends!

There is so much to do for fun. You have your recreation center, you can swim, shoot pool, hit the gym, watch the guys in the gym, go to backetball, baseball, or flag football games. There are local spots you can walk to on the strip. Or if you want go old school and grabs some friends and play double dutch or something near the dorms.
