If you are an out of state student like myself, try everything you can go get involved so an out of state fee waiver can be provided for you! It saves money and the refunds you receive will come in handy during those tough monetary periods.

I love/hate it here at GSU, its the prefect school for people who prefer smaller areas away from busy cities. What is amazing to most people is that downtown Grambling is only about three blocks long and its made up of family owned stories and restaurants, not huge skyscrapers and busy intersections. However Grambling is also know for being a party school and if you're not a huge party goer, then the loud music and crazy nights will irk your nerves.

This school is among the cheapest accredited schools out there. Along with out of state fees, scholarships and financial aid it becomes a little more affordable than most.

Basically, Visit the school in high school. Get registered EARLY; so you do not have to face out DEADLY financial aid center. Highlights of the school year: Football games, Homecoming, Cotton Bowl, Bayou Classic, Mardi Gras, Springfest, & Graduation (in that order, until you graduate). Stay focus and dont believe the Illusion; Or Else Grambling will chew you up and spit you right out. Our motto, Where everybody is a Somebody...(with a fee sheet) is true and you will believe it when you get here.
