Clubs and Activities I've yet to participate in any campus clubs/activities.
Great for these types of students GCC is great for students wanting to learn more about a specific trade. It's also ideal for those looking for an easy transition into college life, seeing that it's campus is fairly small and the professors and staff are very helpful and accommodating.

Bang for the buck I believe you definitely get the bang for your buck at GCC. I feel I am getting an equal education as my peers attending the University of Guam, though I am paying less for tuition. However, for some reason we are paying more for our books than those who attend the University, which doesn't make much sense.
What to do for fun Guam Community College has a beautiful newly-built library. It's very clean, quiet, and up-to-date. With lots of space, comfy furniture, and many computers available, it's definitely an enjoyable place to be on campus.
Food and Dining With only one food and beverage facility located on campus, choices are limited. Though one can't complain about the inexpensive prices, you definitely get what you pay for when it comes to the quality of the food. And when you get past all that, you still have to find a place to sit.
Dorm Life Currently living off-campus.
Academic Rigor Overall I feel the curriculum at Guam Community College is adequate and am satisfied with the education I've received so far.
Tips for prospective students Because the school is small, there are very few options when it comes to schedules for most classes. Though some teachers allow a few extra students into their classes every semester to try and accommodate everyone, I would recommend registering for classes early in order to get a schedule that works best for you.
In three sentences For those who call Guam their home, Guam Community College is a great choice for those looking to further their education and not go far from home. The faculty and staff are very welcoming and helpful, making the transition into post-secondary education simple and easy. With a newly-built library, student center, and other buildings still being constructed, you can take pride knowing that your school is always looking towards improvement.

Clubs and Activities I haven't heard much of clubs/activiites since this will be my first time attending Guam Community College in Summer 2013.
Bang for the buck This will be my first time attending Guam Community College and I am sure it will be quite an experience for myself.
Food and Dining I was there for training for my job and ate there once at a cafe and it was good!
Academic Rigor Will be my first time attending Guam Community College in the Summer 2013.
Tips for prospective students Just be yourself and do your best!
In three sentences Guam Community College is a vocational institution to provide you to be a leader in career and technical workforce development by providing the highest quality education and job training. The college will help us to build better quality of life for myself, family and the community. It will also help me further my education in my career field of study in Accounting.

Categories Comments Campus Safety Safety is a definite priority for all those on campus. Security guards are always on campus. Parking lots are well lite for all those attending evening classes.
Clubs and Activities Many different clubs are found within our community college.
What to do for fun There are seasonal activities and/or events that take place on campus. Students can find fliers posted throughout campus for all the upcoming activities and/or events hosted by various clubs and organizations of the community college.
Food and Dining There is a small restaurant as well as a coffee shop in another building, both located on campus.
Dorm Life Dorm life is not an option here at the community college. This is due to the lack of resources on campus.
Academic Rigor These standards at the community college is rather comparable to other educational institutes. Grades must be passing, otherwise, the student is placed on academic probation.
Tips for prospective students The student population is very diverse at this community college. There is so much to learn from one another in and outside of the classroom setting. Always have a goal in mind and keep a driving force. This community college will provide the readiness students need for workplace.
In three sentences Overall, terrific teachers/instructors that care a great deal about getting the education that we (students) deserve. They continue to assure that students understand the course lessons, more so, willing to take time out to work with students that may have difficulty with certain areas of the course.
