Gustavus Dinning Service was much better when I first arrived as a Freshman. A couple years latter the meals just aren't as exciting as they were. Still you might well be surprised when you have your first dinner. I think that Gustavus still is in the top 100 for best College cafeteria in the USA. So, its not too shaby.

» Read MoreWatch what you eat. Sometimes you're so busy with activities, friends and studying you forget to watch what you're eating. Make sure that you are eating healthy and not overeating. The Gustavus cafeteria is really good, they are top 14th with best food. Unfortunately, I don't have a meal plan anymore so I don't eat there anymore.

» Read MoreGreek life is very different here than it is at a normal school, there is no Greek row, there are no official Greek houses, also they are not usually nationally affiliated, except for Sigma Alpha Epsilon (SAE) so they are cheaper but won't get you networked as easily. They focus more around community service, but it doesn't mean they don't have fun.
