With its liberal arts focus, Harvard provides the type of education that helps you to become a better thinker. You probably won't gain as much concrete knowledge here as you would at a non-liberal arts college, but I think this has more to do with the concept of liberal arts itself so it's not really Harvard's fault... One problem that does appear to be Harvard's own is that many of its professors are renowned for their research, which means that they're good at research but not necessarily teaching.     Harvard is probably the best university out there, with its great facilities and diverse system. That is why the levels that you need to get there are so high, but it's probably worth every minute. Do not give up on your quest to reach the top, it will pay off.

    Harvard University in general has a phenomenal alumni network. The professors and staff are wholeheartedly committed to the all encompassing development of all students - undergraduate or graduate. The institution is also committed to diversifying the student population - diversity of ethnic/racial origin and diversity of thought and belief system.

    I would rate Harvard a ten for sure. Everything about them says sophisticated education. Their website, the name, every detail is obviously carefully put together. I love the care and effort they have put into their site as well. It really says something when a college puts their heart and soul into their site. I think this is definately the college for me. They are as dedicated towards their design as I am toward my schoolwork, and that is reassuring. Too many times, I have seen colleges snap booklets and web pages together. It's different when a college has genuine care for the assignments they complete.

    Harvard is a beautiful, elite school. It is very selective but promises a good learning environment and overall an enjoyable experience. If you are lucky enough to get in, definitely go here.
