There isn't a lot to do in the Hastings area. I know many of the students here who want to transfer and can't stand the small size. Of the current junior class, about only half are left of what they started out with freshmen year becasue of transfers. It has a small town vibe and still feels a lot like high school, some people are unfriendly. If you're from a small Nebraskan town you might feel at home though. I'm from Colorado Springs and I can't stand how there is nothing to do. The only thing to do on the weekends really is go to parties, which can be fun...but all people really do here on the weekends is drink. And anyways, there sometimes aren't any parties or they get busted very early so you end up hanging out in a dorm or something. read full review
