In three sentences	this is a great place to further your education. they have programs to help with all of your educational needs. they have really great people working there and will go out of their way to help you.
Tips for prospective students	get your financial aid request filled out early. get an adviser to help with your schedule. the class hours are really flexible. they have tutors that will help you with any classes that you might need help with. they have a good honors program. they have staff to help with anything that you may need, from parking to disabilities.
Academic Rigor	most of the classes are challenging and require that you take notes and study.
Dorm Life	there are no dorms on campus.
Food and Dining	they have a nice, clean, and diverse cafeteria. the food is pretty good too.
What to do for fun	there are nearby theaters,golf course,night clubs(for the students who are over 21),parks,pools,gyms,and many more things to do for fun.
Bang for the buck	i think that one would be hard pressed to find a better education for the costs. hctc is one of the top ten community colleges in the usa.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus	i do not know of anything unusual except for the knowledge and freindlyness of the staff and students.
Great for these types of students	great for all types of students, particularly the ones that are older and want to improve on their life.
Clubs and Activities	there are many clubs at hctc. it all depends on what club you want to join.
Greek Life	ther are a couple that you can join.
Campus Safety	there is security personel that patrol the campus at all times.
