    If you're planning to attend HSU, I would say just stay focused. Don't let the college life and partying distract you from what is important. Remember what you came to Henderson to do, and that is obtain a degree.

    UTILIZE all resources teachers, tutoring, library...etc. Don't wait till the last minute and if you do let someone know. Make sure you can afford it before you go to school, money can cause the strongest person to crack under the pressure.

    Please, apply for HOUSING and SCHOLARSHIPS as early as possible. The earlier you apply, you have a better chance of getting into the newer dorms and also first dibs on scholarship money! Also, take your ACT as many times as possible! Don't wait until your senior year to start taking them! Start your junior year, or better yet, your sophomore year and get the best score possible! The higher your ACT, the higher amount of scholarship money you will receive!
