The cafe in the SLTC is very nice and the cafeteria is amazing. The food is home-made and very good, the cafeteria ladies are very nice, and you won't regret eating on campus ever!

The cafeteria women are the best!Hendrix has themed days like Rock and Roll day where they dress up and play music while you eat. You can also suggest a recipe and they'll make it. You have vegetarian options as well. I spent a month there and gained half of my Freshman 15 before I even become a freshman!

It has a world class cafeteria! In fact, it was rated one of the top 25 most overlooked colleges in the U.S. because of the grub!

I have to say, there is no other place I have been to that offers the same kind of cafeteria food and service like Hendrix. There are truly qualified, kind cooks behind the lunch buffets. Speaking of buffets, Hendrix has plenty of choices for any kind of diet. I had to watch myself as I ate lunch in their Harry Potter-style lunchroom, careful not to stuff myself silly. They could definitely be a five-star restarurant if they wanted to be.

The kitchen staff are really nice and will learn your name within the first month of school. There are a lot of different stations in the cafeteria, with a mix of healthy and fried food. You can make your own sandwiches and there is a wok to make stir fry with. There is also the Burrow which is great for when the Caf closes.

The food and dining experience at Hendrix was seriously my favorite part. The cafeteria staff is absolutely amazing and the food is delicious. Plus on your birthday, they will bring you out a cake that they baked in the back and sing the happy birthday song Hendrix style. (It's a bit different from a regular happy birthday song and most people never know the words)

Hendrix College is missing two pillars of southern collegiate life: Greek life and football. Although the school is likely to get a football time in the near future. There is no Greek Life on campus, but the dorms take the place and serve as a unique identity for their residents.

There is no greek life at Hendrix, but like everything great. Freshman dorms act as sororities and fraternities and we host activities such as Faux Rush Week and Shirttails. Plus it is always fun five years down the road to say I was an Easy VZ girl. A.K.A. I lived in Veasey Hall for freshman and sophomore year.

While Hendrix does not have a Greek life, it has similar traditions that Greeks participate in as well. Hendrix as brother and sister dorms like Greek dorms. These dorms help each other out and create a community feeling with each other, as well as the other dorms. Sometimes Greek life can be a little too wild, and at Hendrix it is important to get a good education, but it is also important to have fun as well! There is a balance of work and play at Hendrix that has always seemed to fit perfectly.
